Again Walter you have presented some beautiful photos. Love what you photographed and saved to show us in the 21st century. I’ve always loved Georgia from afar, don’t know why, but Robert’s historic adventures and your photographic records are very welcome and pleasing. It must be in the family dna or something. Thanks from Brisbane, Chris 😊
great images it is great to preserve the past people, and places. it is always neat looking at people over the years, how they change and how they dress. especially with places so often they change so much so that they do not look anything alike. thanks for the history of waverly hall , GA
😮Just lovely! Such lovely ladies! I found you through Robert and I feel like you guys are connecting really well with the old bird farm family history thing! Maybe someday you guys will sit down and thread it all together for us maybe at the old bird farm! Thanks again Walter!
You have an amazing eye and intuitiveness is amazing! Love the 12 speed bikes! I remember those well. Those old homes and businesses… the light and color. Takes me back. Im so glad you saved those moments and time and chose to share them. Thank you!
Waverly Hall, America's backroads. I love the casualness of the town, and how easy it is to trip back to the past. Years ago - is that boy in the blue shorts, aqua shirt and tippy posture - Robert?
Very nice. I liked that square hip-roofed house which you had several pictures of, and also the pretty girl. It also looked like pictures of Robert as a cute little boy. It's hard to believe I was once that age. Thanks, Barry
Walter your a talented photographer. But i wish you would narrate your photo and tell who is in the pictures and the history about your photos. It be very enjoyable and meaningful. Plus you have a nice voice
Beautiful video Walter. Your photos are amazing. Waverly Hall looks like a beautiful place to live. I love small towns. I wish we still had those gas prices 😂.
Walter, you never disappoint with sharing your Photographs, and always manage to put together a nice presentation of them as well. Waverly Hall seems to be such a nice small but awesome place, and IF I didn't mind the HOT summers there, would think about Moving there, But Though My ancestors for over 5 generations were all southerners, I Like the change in seasons, and the cool fall weather and cold winters of the Upper Northeast. Visiting there during the late fall would be ok for me, but Summers?? No thanks. But if I am ever able, and can afford to drive the distance, would love to have Paul and I visit sometime..
I did a ton of images in High School , year book, and all different events. I wish I got out and took pictures of the railroads! there were so many “fallen flags” where I live in Western NY, I also wish I took pictures of the changes in the town, but they slowly evolved, and I did not even notice them as they occurred until it was too late. take care, be safe, and stay healthy.
Yes. My photography Mentor at WRBL (Woody Woodward), told me, forever ago, that whenever I go to a new place where I will be for a while, to photograph everything right away. Because after I have been there a while, I will stop noticing things, and then at a later date, when they have changed, or I am someplace new, I will wish that I had photographed them.
@@WalterMallardPhotographyyou are welcome. I am still struggling. Praying the specialist can help in mid October, had to wait, 10 weeks for an appointment.
Great stuff. Without your great videos, I'd never found the New Byrd Farm or Aaron's place on Fortune Rd with the Goggle Satellite. I laugh at those 2 jokers laughing at us viewers. I texted Aaron, deer in headlights Hahahaha. Button down the hatch, you might get a storm surge. Eaglegards...
Looks like Robert is in your pictures. He is a little toke then. And gas for 95c? That was back in the late 70’s to 80’s. Wish it was this today along with food and such
Wasn't the town hall there in Waverly Hall once a school at one point? Passing by it always resembled one and it has that round driveway in the front of it makes it seem more likely it could have been one. I think I remember hearing that but I'm not sure
@@c82richard As I recall, originally, that I knew of, was in the city Gym. The Community Center. I don't recall when the Primary School was closed and converted. Maybe the late 1980's?
That dramatic fall-leafed tree has my #1 vote!---With the record-breaking hurricane on it's way, do you have a collection of storm shots with the aftermath, including rainbows?
I love that tree! I do have some storm aftermath shots. I don't have a scanner. So I'll have to wait till I get one to put up the best looking shots. I sometimes have to take pictures of pictures with my phone, which never looks quite right.
I never get bored of your work!❤

Nice shots! If we could only go back in time or at least could have stopped it for awhile. Getting old sucks 😢🇺🇸
Yes it does! There are times that I would like to revisit.

Is the little blonde boy in the first pictures, Robert?
A very young Robert is at 1:30-1:33, 2:34-2:37, and 4:24-4:27.
Sub-dollar gas!!! Seems like 100 years ago!
I know that's right!
