Did you guys not see that deer or elk while he was walking down that trail trying to get a grouse? Look straight down, far as you can see and watch it move off into the trees
They graze cattle in that spot. It was a moo cow!!! But it has happen all the time, we mess up the hunt chasing grouse!!!
There are also wolves in that area!@@gorgeoutdoors

Way more hunters than elk in the Heppner Unit these days. Even the locals don't hunt there anymore...waste of a tag.
