Just ordered some of those slippers. Been lugging around my crocs, and while I love them, they are too heavy and bulky. Looking forward to trying the slippers out next trip!
Oh man you're gonna love them! I have taken them on about seven backcountry adventures this summer. Nothing like sitting in my Helinox Chair Zero and putting on a comfy pair of slippers at the end of a long hike!
@@CascadeBackcountry That chair is my joy, I take it to the grocery store. I will not leave home without it! Looking forward to introducing the slippers to it!
What happened to the Granite Gear 60L pack? Im looking to buy a new pack this year and would appreciate your insight (Im whatcom County btw) Love your stuff and have shared your channel with a bunch of guys from work. Keep up the amazing content!
Oh man, I have like 12 backpacks haha Are trying to go ultralight or carry a lot of weight? Hello Whatcom County! Lots of room for activities 😆 Thank you for sharing!!
Not ultralight. Just an “all around” first time pack for my stuff and a bit of overflow room for kids items that Im sure will end up in mine lol😂 I think the Blaze 60 would do the trick unless you’ve had an issue with yours. Thanks for getting back to me!
The Granite Gear was a great pack BUT the issue I had with it is that it wasn't the most comfortable ack when carrying heavy loads. For comfort when carrying larger loads, aka carrying your kid's stuff too, I'd look at at an osprey 70 ish liter pack (very comfortable and the price is right) or a Mystery Ranch Bridger 65 which is more expensive but carries a heavy load VERY comfortably. Hope that helps! Also this is only my opinion and the Granite Gear might work just great for ya
Again thank you for your response and recommendation! Im a pretty avid outdoorsman but based on your excellent videos I know when to take more experienced advice😄..my back will thank you when Im carrying a few extra items I inherit from my littles 🤣 I will do my best to spread the word on your channel 👍
Thank you for sharing. I am always re-evaluating my back country pack list.
Backpacking gear is definitely a never ending addiction! haha Thanks for watching!
Mate you do the same kind of outdoors stuff that I do, almost, I’m in Australia, no bears though. Thanks for sharing, great video
Sweet! No bears but I heard kangaroos will try to drown you haha Thanks for watchin!
Like your dancing skills. Must be practicing enough. LOL. Thanks for sharing!
I'm a dancing fool! Haha Those sweet moves were obviously well rehearsed
