Clint thanks for showing us some of the smalls on display, have watched Matt and Sam and DP And Chris nobody ever went indoors to show tooling and repair stations, fun video peace brother…
Clint you look like a natural , you list looked a little bit stressed up, calm down , I run a hydraulic. It only gets nervous. When you got three trucks, watching you load one
Came to say the same thing, all the rest of those, umm, highfalutin individuals are only worried about the diggers and maybe some tracks, but Clint gave us the WHOLE tour. Appreciate it good sir! Nice of that young feller to let you take the sticks for a bit, what's his name again? Escapes me at the moment ;) j/k Chris!
I agree all those guys ever showed was the excavating side of it. I always thought it would be an interesting trip know it needs to be on my things to do list. Thanks I enjoy your channel you are very down to earth.
There are hundreds of videos of this show on UA-cam just search for National Pike and you will find many posts of this show with more than just earthmovers. My best advice to attend one of our two shows as there is no video that can truly capture this event, our biggest show is in August. As a volunteer I spend about 2 weeks there for each show traveling about 500 miles round trip. Just awesome for me to be part of.
I hope you enjoyed our local steam show. It has been going since 1975. It started on 1 acre of one of the 5 founders farm, and after 2 years it moved to its current location. It is 100 acres now and for some reason, I think the property is a total of 300 acres. It has more additions of equipment every year and draws people from great distances.
I attended my first one about 15 years ago. I was so impressed that I became a member. While I can't volunteer or participate, I can still support this wonderful "working museum" through my donation. I thank you all.👏
These are the machines I grew up watching in the late 50’s and 60’s! As soon as school let out I made a beeline for the nearest construction site where I would sit on the spoil piles watching the operator’s every move! Good memories.
Wow that Lima sounded sweet and the operator knew those controls like the back of his hand. The Lorain steam shovel was pretty quiet and cool and I think Im going to have and come see this weekend for myself next year 🏴👍🏻
Clint thanks for taking us along on your trip to Pa. I enjoyed the tour and seeing all the great equipment. Your content is always very interesting. I am 81 and a lot of the stuff there was current in my day. I heard several "pony" motors, which were very common back in the day. Thanks again, from West Texas
Big thanks for taking us along with you and ya dad bro I have watched this show for a few years from others who post, now and it keeps getting better with people like Matt, Sam and Frank adding old stuff they have found and got working again. Safe travels. Ken.
The guy on that Lima shovel at the beginning sure knew what he was doing. Smooth as silk that fella was. Watching those guys at night was a really cool perspective. HI DP🙂
when those machines were put in service it made the job way easier! check out the equipment used to build hoover dam and this was a huge upgrade from that. we got it made in the shade working with modern machines now.
Brilliant ,,, love the old stuff I could amuse myself for days there ,,, There's some pretty flash gear in 2024 but those old machines built the world a cu, yard at a time ,,
I know it takes some work to get that machinery in working order, but it's totally amazing that it's still is able to do what it was designed for. My mother and father, and both of their families, were from Brownsville. Most of my family except for my Mom and Dad, are buried there. I spent a lot of good times in Brownsville as a kid.
I grew up in Canonsburg and used to go when I was a kid loved this show. I live in California now and there some shows like this but more in the Central Valley of the state.
Nice old equipment and good operators. Never been around a cable shovel, but did spend a lot of hours on a cable blade D8 we used in our gravel pits in the 80s and 90s.
Awesome Video Clint thanks for taking us along seeing this old equipment still in usable condition is just the best so the younger kids can see how history was made in the construction and road building business in the 40,50,60s
Love seeing that old gear! Started in the quarry industry back in 1977 so a lot of that equipment is familiar. I ashamed to say I cut up an RB54 for scrap in 1979☹️
Clinton I know you’re Dad and I are the same age, I know he remembers how they use to grade the roads 98 percent where I grew up were dirt.. It was a Cat D 2 pulling a road scraper… l remember the first motor grader I saw with all the handles I loved them. I put that on my bucket list but I am afraid my time is beginning to run out finding one to drive… Would be a fantastic place to have a place to have those for old machines to let us old farts to relive our memories..
Wow! What dedication to American equipment Restoration, presentation, displays, and operation, was top Tier. Clont...thank you for thevjdeo ( very nice drone shots) and thank you for sharing this important part of your life
Grew up about 60 miles from there. It`s a great event! Thanks for bringing back the memories. It`s the assortment of content like this, that makes your show stand out. Keep em coming.
Thanks for show tour, liked the walk thru of the buildings and equipment in them. Fun to tag along, again thanks, enjoyed watching. BTW, bet a guy would go broke trying to sell DEF at that show!!!🙄😏😉😂😂😂
Great video. Thanks for showing us all the other stuff going on. After seeing you and Chris run the old shovel I promise not to gripe about operating my buddy’s 3 stick Case 580 anymore. Usability has come a long way in a 100 years.
Love the clamshell bucket ever since i seen a old crane tearing down a block of flat in the 90s used it as a wreaking ball too so like a 2 in 1 demolition and materials sorter sat for hours in the summer watching it with my toy version
Thanks for sharing, great to see all the old iron working still. Still trying to spot the same type of dozer and excavator my my dad had. Kinda hard to remember since it was more than 54 years ago. Wishing you and your family the best. Pretty sure I heard LD18’s voice in the video, nice to see DP and Gunner in the end of the video.
The amazing thing is these machines were new and building America less than two lifetimes ago. My grandpa threw ties from railroad cars by hand. I saw draglines in small coal mines in the 90's. Today's machines cut grade with satellites. Amazing progress under 80 years.
Equipment that built America and it’s still running today. Looks like a lot of fun there Clint with old Chris. Let’s dig 18. Tell you how to do it. looks like a lot of fun great video.
Seeing that TS-14 will have me have nightmares tonight. I used to work for a company in Memphis that had four of them. On a good day three were moving dirt and if I had all four running the doomsday clock was ticking loudly before something let go again. 🤣🤣
It's great to see health and safety has not gone mad there if that was anywhere in Europe there would be safety barriers everywhere and you would not be able to get close great video Clint

Not sure if this is your first trip to the show my question is what are you buying to restore and take there.

The equipment there my friends is what shaped the landscape and it's a pleasure see them all operational ! Very nice!

We have a HCEA show grounds in Barrie, Ontario. Always a good time when they have a “play day”.

I thank you all.👏
I can see Clint going home to his wife and saying guess what I just bought 😅😂👍🏻
Clint that's what you call a cool video thank you sir for showing the vintage equipment ❤

Nice to see the whole show instead of just the shovels and dozers. Good job covering the show. 👍😎
All of that time, effort & equipment… just for the pure joy of it all 🤩👍🏻😎🧐😀
Heck of an antique yard full of stuff older than I am, 82 years old👍🤠🤠🤠
10’s of thousands of hours with millions of dollars of equipment showcasing the history that built America 🇺🇸👍🏻🤩☝🏻😃
And not one computer controlled engine management system in sight.
@stevea9604 not if Kamala gets in she will sell this country down the tubes
Big thanks for taking us along with you and ya dad bro I have watched this show for a few years from others who post, now and it keeps getting better with people like Matt, Sam and Frank adding old stuff they have found and got working again. Safe travels. Ken.

Thanks for sharing this with us mate, didn’t realise there was such a variety of different equipment on display. Cheers from down under.

It’s awesome seeing all this old iron out working. One of these days I’m going to make it to the national pike steam show!

Awesome Video Clint thanks for taking us along seeing this old equipment still in usable condition is just the best so the younger kids can see how history was made in the construction and road building business in the 40,50,60s

Thanks Clint for a great tour of everything on this show, the best i ever see! Good job! 👍
Hi guys thanks for sharing was much appreciated loved seeing all of those old machines keep up the good work ❤❤❤
Just about everyone on site started playing with machines as a child, and never got over it.
That's the Iron that built this nation.
Thanks for the show.

good comprehensive perspective on this, the other guys tend to showcase their roles in the show but we saw quite a bit more in this video. Well done.
All that dirt being moved without a drop of the EPA DEF (destroys engine fluid). Nice work fellas.
Excellent vid. Clint's a born natural Operator. He jumped right in that ancient shovel and operated it like he did it for years. 😎
Wow! What dedication to American equipment
Restoration,presentation,displays,and operation,was top
Tier.
Clont...thank you for thevjdeo ( very nice drone shots) and thank you for sharing this important part of your life

Great entertainment Clint.. Thanks for taking us along 👍
It was Great to meet you and your Dad at the show, I hope to see you there again.
The aerial (almost still) view makes it look like a very well kept junkyard.
Some of those old machines are surprisingly pretty fast with a good operator .👍
Nice to see some actual steam equipment up and running.
Wow this video of Vintage Equipment and Yes it's must see .
It is cool, glad to meet you. Thanks for the stickers there on my tractor 👍
Just boys playing with their toys😊👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Those old shovels are fun to watch
Equipment that built America and it’s still running today. Looks like a lot of fun there Clint with old Chris. Let’s dig 18. Tell you how to do it. looks like a lot of fun great video.
That continuous miner is something fun to operate It could load out 2,500 ton a shift Those shuttle cars with side boards could haul 15 tons a trip
Fantastic video Clint I really appreciate this chance to see this ! Thanks so much !! God Bless !
Thanks? For trip! Interesting and enjoyable! 👌👍
Others call that a "visit to the museum" - Clint calls that "research for the next auctions". 😁🤘
Great video thanks Clint and Chris very enjoyable
That's back when equipment were built and made to last
That's when America was America
And no Damn computers to shut the whole show down because of a “bad sensor”. What a mess we’ve made!
So glad Mike bought enough Pepsi’s for everyone 😝😀😃
It's cool seeing the equipment that built our country at the turn of the century! What has happened to it now!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Seeing that TS-14 will have me have nightmares tonight. I used to work for a company in Memphis that had four of them.
On a good day three were moving dirt and if I had all four running the doomsday clock was ticking loudly before something let go again. 🤣🤣

A Dozer machine with two engines on it is definitely news to me that's a first.
I keep watching these videos & it must be a government contract as they never get anything done ! 🤣
love the 6x6 dump truck W/ the soft top
