And that without relying on cheap labour from mass immigration like most european countries do who all still struggle to even slightly come closer to Japan except Germany. All that while being a small isolated island with no natural resources constantly in intense relationship with neighboring countries. By comparaison Germany is lucky to be in the center of Europe with free trade and EU helping mutually boost the countries' economies. If you take everything into account Japan is doing really really good and what's interesting is that it could've been doing even waay better if not for some of the issues it has been facing or if they have taken certain decisions early on.
