I own a 2012 one owner I bought in July , had a paint correction done, drop in AFe filter and stage 2 clutch. Love it, only has 44k miles. Stage 2 APR tune and single pulley coming this summer , can’t wait
Hi ! I see you have tuned this car so i would like to ask how much eat that little devil tuned and how much in stock ? I want to buy one in near future so im doing research Thanks
@@mynameiserick1911 I sold my manual S4 and got a DSG 2014, it has stage 2 APR tune, cold air intake and upgraded supercharger pulley. Roughly 500hp crank
You never mentioned the clutch. I have a tuned B8.5 S5 with manual and the clutch slipped. Has the clutch been upgraded on yours and if so, to what? Thanks.
I like how in murica you are still studying something, and still have money to modify car. In my country you have to work 2 years, full job, just to buy that audi. And then extra 2 moths to fix it, and for all other stuff
I love the B8 S4. Looks great!! I am a Michigander as well! I have a B8 A4.... In a few months I may be upgrading to a B8.5 S5 . Can I ask who did your wrap.
I'm looking into getting a B8 S4. But 6MT are very uncommon and I don't absolutely need a manual. I do however want to get the car close or even over the 400hp mark. I was wondering how the dsg will handle that and what I can do to help it last longer
I hate hearing the excuse of "getting stuck in traffic" being the reason to not get a manual. I do it and have no issue with only 2ish months of experience owning a manual. It can be bothersome if people around you don't pay attention, otherwise there's nothing to it.
You’re about 8-10k over value on the asking price honestly. Super cool car nonetheless. You’d get more money parting out the mods and then selling the car as stock for 12k
Thank you for the compliment, however I would have to disagree with your pricing. Please visit any of the large car sales websites (cars.com, cargurus, etc.) and search specifically for a B8 S4 with a 6MT, less than 80,000 miles, and no accident. You won't find a car listed for anything remotely close to $12,000. All comparables are around 21k. Furthermore, there are currently less than 6 available cars (including this one), all others without any modifications. Would I agree that my starting price is on the higher end? Sure. Helps to weed out anyone trying to offer 12k... this is a "fair sale" car, meaning that it will sell at a fair price for both the buyer and the seller. Can you say that mods don't ad value? Sure, but I would say that is relative to the buyer, and what they plan to do. If the buyer plans on going dual pulley with their car in the future, why not save 50%+ and purchase one that is already completed? Feel free to check the prices on the parts for the vehicle (fluidampr crank pulley, EPL tune, AMS cooler, enlaes carbon) and you will start to realize why the price is justified where it is. This platform is excessively expensive to modify for the pricepoint at which these cars are sometimes trading hands at. However, this is the last of a 6MT Audi S4s, and they will pull a premium because of that.
Joshua Lothringer might just be different areas have different prices. Local to me I’ve found them at significantly less. I had a chance to buy a 2014 with similar miles a few months ago for 21k. 6 speed manual as well
@@TheCompyshop my search criteria was over the entirety of the united states, however I will agree that there can be deals to be found via private party whether it be on facebook marketplace, craigstlist, etc. However, there is no place on planet earth where this vehicle can be found for the price you mentioned. I believe that the cars.com/carguru markets (and alike) give the justified "going rate" for these vehicles. Anomalies don't dictate the market.
Billy Buxton The difference is he’s putting down that much power to the wheels not the flywheel. Bhp is measuring the amount of HP the engine is putting out from the flywheel, without taking considering the amount of hp loss through the drivetrain in stuff like that. So in reality your probably putting down 25% less bhp to your wheels.
I know exactly what it’s like because I had a stage 2 APR B8 S4 myself for 5 years...it’s boring. The B8 S4 is known to be a pig if you’re after some real power. Multiple big name aftermarket companies tried to develop things to get more power (past a stage 2 type power) out of it (bigger supercharger) and they couldn’t get the car to not have heating issues. What’s worse is you have the early model too which Audi still hadn’t done tuned several things with the facelift models. So if it’s stuck at around 400 hp...it’s slow for today’s standards. I’ve never modified a car (9 modified cars) that hits a massive wall when it comes to getting any more than bolt-one and a tune out of it. At least b7’s had a solid supercharger option to slap on that v8 that would make it a beast. I tell people this regarding B8 S4’s: if you’re the type that’s happy with some calling it done after some basic bolts on and a tune, it’s an amazing car and even better now that they’re so dang cheap. If you’re the type that continually modified your car for more power over the course of several years, it’s a horrible candidate for build. It’s a good car but horrible for the tuner/build kind of enthusiasts. In fact, if someone was that kind of enthusiast, they’d have done their homework and realized it would make a crappy project car and wouldn’t even buy it in the first place. Enjoy it man...great car. But if you’re thinking you’re gonna win any races against everyone on the highway or light to light, don’t be surprised when u get smoked all the time. Clever title though. U knew that kind of title gets clicks😉
I haven't dyno'd the car! Just guestimated the horsepower. I'm also 10mm smaller than most comparable dual pulley setups (179 compared to 189). EPL is one of the best tuning companies for this platform, with good reason. Ironically, I have people claiming I was also 20whp over where I should be. I'd say the guesstimate is pretty close.
Puts all these mods on and doesn't change the alloys for black ones to match it perfectly..... He talked about it like it was rapid and did a pull and it barely moved 😂 they aren't fast cars they are for relaxing drive, not racing.
