Please don't promote this camera (Simga fp - foolish purchase). It has been one of the worst investments I have ever made in camera gear. It's pathetic to say the least. The worst color science and image format. They promised to have a LOG format and did not fulfill it, which as a Japanese company they must be terribly ashamed of. I would highly recommend people to go for any other camera but this. PLEASE!!!
I saw an interview where a Sigma representative said openly that LOG format is not possible due to limitations of the hardware of the camera. They also don’t mention LOG anywhere on the webpage of the camera. You’re welcome to criticize its other shortcomings though. But don’t tell me what I should or shouldn’t promote.
@@vadimfilmsI support your response here to tom, who has criticised the FP and it's colour science. I wonder if he even watched your video. How anybody could call the colour science of the FP, terrible, is beyond me. The colour outcomes of this little camera punch well above its weight. The colour it produces in it's 12bit CDNG competes with cinema cameras that cost 50 times as much. One simply needs to know how to use the tool. But you already know know that. I can tell by the beautiful pictures you produce. Keep up the beautiful work.
