gorgeous, my technique just doesn't seem to be that mirrory yet, how many layers does it take you, some people mention 10, others claim 50 layers is the way to go, probably takes them a full day of work for a single pair. I notice you're wearing these with leather soles, no rubber, no metal toe tips, how's that working out for ya? Liked and subbed, obv.
ahhh, so it's not the number of layers but the filled up pores of the leathers, some leathers have larger pores - more time and wax to fill, some have dense pores - less time and wax to fill but takes more finesse. I don't think there's a fixed number of layers.
also the "dryness" (or "hardness") of the wax does play a role too
these shoes belong to a client back then haha, I can't recall if I installed any of the mentioned thereafter

In your experience, where does Allen Edmonds shoe cream fall into comparison with Collonil, saphir, tarrago, etc
I think AE cream can surpass Tarrago but loses in the colors, Saphir is still at the top level.
