- From Murrieta store finals on 6-5-2012. Ended up being a 3 way tie and had to do a tie breaker which is in another video.
Daniel Newell ended up winning with a great performance, especially considering he's only 17 years old. Unfortunately I drew 1st for the tie breaker so I was flying blind to some degree and I guess I didn't choose the right approach for the judges that night... maybe next year.

i was hopeing u would get it,i think the judges get wowed by these younger players, not fare, i was beat by a younger guy sitting down,he was o.k. but i know i brought more to the table.I think i over played. what a ego buster
sijoy1969, Clapton, seriously? Why not just complain that Hamlin doesn't measure up to God?
You should check some of this guy's instructional DVDs. He has a wonderful relaxed teaching style, the exact opposite of how you characterize him.
What kind of guitar was that? I couldn't get a close visual on the headstock.
