I think medical notes of ordinary mortals are open to public now. Have had a few laughs at wrong Clinics along the way. Elderly lady was deaf and wandered into clinic testing for smear tests next door. She asked us how that would improve her hearing? Doctor fell about laughing. I took my water sample to hospital once for mild infection. Seeing a short cut, I wandered into Serious Urogenital Disease. Was asked some very strange questions. Answered chirping but lady doc twigged I was in wrong dept when everyone was laughing at me. Next door my dear....no more short cuts.

First of all, the princess has campaigned for being more open about mental illness, instead of adopting the usual stiff upper lip. Secondly, that hospital does not treat mental health. Thirdly, she’s an absolute warrior. While I do think she’s hurt by everything that’s happening, out of the entire royal family, her disposition seems well equipped to handle this.

Whatever her condition is, I have little doubt that Catherine received a devastating blow at her news and is unlikely to have had time to adjust to it prior to her surgery. She's someone who faces challenges head-on, but surgery would have left her feeling powerless and at the mercy of others. Catherine and, indeed, William have an absolute right to work through it in their own way.

Thank you for this. I don’t believe for one moment it’s a mental breakdown. First of all, the princess has campaigned for being more open about mental illness, instead of adopting the usual stiff upper lip. Secondly, that hospital does not treat mental health. Thirdly, she’s an absolute warrior. While I do think she’s hurt by everything that’s happening, out of the entire royal family, her disposition seems well equipped to handle this.

Whatever her condition is, I have little doubt that Catherine received a devastating blow at her news and is unlikely to have had time to adjust to it prior to her surgery. She's someone who faces challenges head-on, but surgery would have left her feeling powerless and at the mercy of others. Catherine and, indeed, William have an absolute right to work through it in their own way.

I would NEVER in a million years think that Catherine has suffered a mental breakdown. She is a happy, cheerful, well adjusted, wise and extremely caring person. Those attributes are not the symptoms or attributes of any mental breakdown. ASK ANY PSYCHIATRIST, a consistently cheerful and happy person who can perform duties with wisdom, caring for others, have genuine conversations with people while smiling and laughing is not suffering from a mental breakdown. Whatever her illness and that’s her private business, she is someone that 99% of the world respects, admires and loves. She often touches her stomach as we women often do during our time of the month, so I think it’s a tummy issue and I trust her to tell the public ONLY if she wants to. As a huge fan, I pray for her swift recovery. I know she misses her beloved husband, kids, parents snd siblings and friends.
