The Princess of Wales has gone to deal with some medical issue. She is a strong lady with determination & her longer stay in hospital is the best place to give her a chance to RELAX & REST. She has had some very hectic engagements recently & deserves some rest.
Furthermore, there is still the QUEEN, PRINCESS ANNE, EDWARD & his wife to look into any Royal engagements. There is not just one 'stardust' royal but many more. It is just a matter of peoples' choice who they favour more. Every member of the Royal if given a Royal Job to do will perform it to the best of the ability. When 44, I had abdominal surgery followed by a two week stay in the hospital. Mine was cancer related caught early. The reason for the long stay and recovery was to make sure my intestinal tract had completely healed and was properly working. We should keep both Prince William, Catherine and their young children in our prayers. Not just for this challenge, but for all the pressures they have on them. For us, going through a serious surgery brought us nearer to God and each other.

I believe that although it is serious surgery, the recovery time must consider the very grueling pace she and the family keep. Our bodies heal best if you take the time needed to get back to your fighting best. I'm sure when she starts back working, she will hit the ground running. Every family has a challenging time when key members of the family are hospitalised, what do they do? The family rallies round and makes sure all the important things are covered by someone. The Royal Family is a big family and I am sure they will all rally round to make sure everything will be covered.

Major surgery is serious you are opened up and operated on, my operation was over 12 hours on my intestines and a large hernia that had to be removed. I was in the hospital for 4 weeks and two weeks in rehab for physical therapy. I love how all these commentors think that major surgery is a walk in the park.
As an individual, myself, who has been through at LEAST a dozen major abdominal surgeries, I will tell you that you don’t feel like yourself for months, which is her timeline to return to royal duties, not to mention that she is a Mother to three children. Catherine, I wish for you to rest and get back to a healthy life. God bless you!!

There’s no good explanation for Harry’s insane behavior! He cries on one hand begging for privacy and then vomits everything he knows and even adds untruths to embellish the narrative! She is painfully thin.
That’s why she had such awful nausea and vomiting throughout her pregnancies. The hormones had nowhere else to go.
She is active and athletic, but underweight.
I should think her exhausting schedule is not easy.

Hernia or gall bladder operations are not a walk in the park. Even minor outpatient surgery slows you down for about a week or so. Allowing your body to heal is imperative. Having to worry if the media will be intrusive is just another stressed.
I wish her a fast recovery and that she is home with her children who must miss her. Lots of prayers and good wishes to her . She is so lovely and humble.

I had abdominal surgery at 36 and stayed 2 weeks n 6 weeks off of a sit down job. Princess walks bend twist stoop drive military equipment races etc which require abdominal bending n twisting. Just let her heal send prayers n good thoughts n time willpass
I don't think it is necessarily serious, but I do think Princess Catherine needs her privacy and rest. I suspect she will miss her children so much she will stay in hospital as long as she can stand it then be released to go home. The key is people need to leave the young family alone for her to recover and for them to be together.

Just before covid hit us,,i got operated for a a Hernia,normally its a two day atay at the hospital,,i ended staying 10 days,Drs were worriod for infection..Lets let her recover rapidly and give her her space,,ty
I had to stay that long after Overy removel . There was a huge cyst on it and i didnt feel any pain untill it was the size of a large grape fruit. They also took appendix out while in there.

Two weeks in hospital is unheard of because most people can only stay as long as insurance will pay. Lots of people need 2 weeks of care but almost no one gets it.

My mom stayed two weeks in hospital. She had a fifteen pound ovarian tumour removed stage 4 cancer. Two weeks wasn't long enough

Why question the number of gardeners at Highgrove? It's enormous, and also has a huge, pretty labour-intensive vegetable garden (much of the produce goes to feed the occupants - many staff permanently there - and some goes to market) and no doubt requires that many people to deal with without overworking the staff. Not to mention it provides jobs for the local people.

I read about a woman who had abdominal surgery twice and sge said she had to stay in hospital 10 and 14 days for her two procedures, followed by 12 Weeks of recovery at home. So no, it's not unheard of. It’s what it takes to heal and recover. Why don’t you do some research before making statements like the ones you are making? That’s irresponsible journalism.
A hysterectomy takes 12 weeks to get over, you have to relax and no driving or picking anything up

The one word I have not heard thank God is exploratory surgery. Princess is and has been too thin.

I hope for Princess Katherine's sake that she doesnt do the stiff upper lip thing as she clearly needs lots of time to recover. My anaesthetist told me a general anaesthetic takes about 18 months to recover from, combined with the cause and consequence of the surgery itself. Take it easy, Kate. No matter how entitled you are, health is wealth.

The ten gardeners at Highgrove are necessary for the extensive self sustaining, renewable, recyclable operations. If he had taken time to research it in-depth instead of his superficial description then he would understand what an extraordinary achievement it is.

I adore Catherine and William. As a Woman my first thought about this surgery was perhaps a Hysterectomy. But, another idea keeps popping up in my mind is terrorism and the officials are keeping her safe, and for that matter for William as he is going to be absent for quite a time too. Prayers for the family whatever the emergency is.
Terrorism? That sounds a little overboard, and even if it was close to the truth, I think that they would be together as a family. My first thought was that she was having a tubal ligation but there's no need to stay in the hospital for that long, along with a very long, outpatient rehabilitation. Plenty of other people have property portfolios so why not the King? Bit absurd to want to impoverish your Monarch. And some of the Residences mentioned belong to the Crown Estate & are not personally owned by the King. They will in turn be under the jurisdiction of future Monarchs. As for the rest it’s up to the King whether they’re turning enough profit to sustain themselves into the future.

Highgrove is a business and a charity, offering employment and community facilities for the local population as well. We went on a paid tour of the gardens- anyone can for a reasonable charge - and lunch at the cafe afterwards (which was employing local people of course). It is a centre for the promotion and research into organic/sustainable gardening. Painting it as totally the private playground of the king is being very simplistic. I would imagine it's effect on the public coffers is likely to be positive rather than negative after all the taxes associated with the shop, cafe, organic gardening promotion, tourism, farming, etc is factored in.
No it won't affect Catherine, Princess of Wales popularity at all. Her fans are worried about her, shes not losing support because she has to deal with health issues. ❤❤❤ of course the family deserves their privacy.
