After seeing you in the JW Anderson sleeveless bomber, I found a very similar second hand navy oversized mens bomber with a slight sheen and I have WORN IT AND WORN IT - thank you always Trinny!!!!

I just realized everything Trinny tries works b/c she knows her silhouette. I need to stop pulling items I know don't suit me from the gate, hoping something changed since I last shopped. I also love how she doesn't stop there and asks, does this suit my life now? And, of course, thinking through how many outfits she can get out of it. These questions slow down my "gotta have it" impulse buying.

Really enjoyed this. I've been buying secondhand and vintage, so I am always looking at department store and designer stores. I get inspiration in colour and style but more importantly I know what I'm looking for when I'm shopping for second hand. Loved your outfit and the way the jackets etc went over it but changed it completely. Nice to see some Aussie designers too!
😊Historically, I've gotten incredibly overwhelmed😵💫 in stores like TJ Maxx or Nordstrom Rack. It's 💯×s worse in thrift stores w/endless packed racks jammed full of used, older goods. 🤏Slightly less stressed😳 in the former retail spaces bcos the air is fresh〰️& there's no nasty second-hand stigma haunting👻 me from my youth😂.
🤔Think my preconceived notions & negativity didn't serve my shopping success in either style venue. Influencers like 🇨🇦The Sorry Girls truly changed my perspective about thrifting.
🤓Earlier on they did these fashion challenges where they started w/a theme (date night, girls night, day outing, etc.) & also half a dozen related branded outfit inspo📷 from some super hip retail store. They each had to pick 3 full looks from the thrift store & fans would vote.
Their success in these exercises was rather mind-blowing🤯. Whether it was a matter of manifestation, a positive attitude, faith, or simple perseverance & competitiveness 〰️their results mimicking mod high-end brands was truly impressive🎉.
I'm thrilled Trinny & others make it 🆒️ to shop second hand. You can find some high quality pieces at thrift stores & estate sales for much more reasonable prices. 😉It's just better if you go in w/a game plan or being completely confident about your personal style & wardrobe needs. Cheers!

Ja, it’s kind of sad going to big department stores and see how they are in declined …people buy more and more online …many times poor quality clothes that last 2 washes .. 😮

I don’t have her body type but I appreciate how well she dresses for hers, she has worked in fashion all her life so she shops for us as well as herself and she has a hugely successful makeup brand so she can do whatever she wants with her money, I can’t shop like this but I can enjoy it vicariously xx
Hobbs very good at inclusive sizes! Also in petite. Lots of soft flippy dresses. Dress up, dress down. Great denim jackets. A lot of what you are looking at does not go above size 16. Beautiful but not great on accessible sizing.

I’ve actually been into using the Rent the Runway to have a more expensive piece to try for several days (4) before i decide if i really like it and actually need it forever or just for that particular occasion. I live in a smaller city in the country in West Texas and our mall only has a Dillards and JCPennys. But when it’s my birthday weekend the hubs and I make the trip to San Antonio where there is a Saks. And that’s when I am in heaven 😂

I really enjoyed shopping in BT at new year, lots of loveliness. The Oroton range I saw in Oz and thought it was great but I never buy from Hobbs as it just feels frumpy.

My boyfriend Leo and I had a lovely weekend in Dublin nearly 20 years ago and he bought a gorgeous brown bomber jacket from Dolce and Gabbana. I was a bit worried it cost over £1k at the time but spotted my daughter Chloe (23) wearing it the other day and she looked great in it.. so feel it was a good investment 🤎(PS hope Leo doesn't see this) 🤣

Love this. Except this is in LONDON. Fashion centre of Europe (in my humble opinion;). I go into my department stores here in Toronto, Canada and all I see is blah, and more blah. Our buyers here either cater to those who are 80 years old or 15 years old. The in-between is uninspired or non existent. So thank you for your videos which allows me to get some remote fashion inspiration:)
I think a lot of us could use a “how to style oversized clothing” video because I see a lot of ill-fitting oversized styling these days and it would be great to hear your take.
