Glad I found your video . I’m NC girl myself; rocky mount to Raleigh to Greensboro to Atlanta then back to NC to Winston Salem now I’m back in Greensboro 🤮. When I graduate school I wanna go to Chicago sooo bad but think I should get good at my skills first in NC but I’m scared moving back to Raleigh where everyone knew me and done fell out with will hender me.

First, you're very pretty. Second, congratulations on your accomplishments! I'm also trying to get my esthetician license as well. Does the Elaine Sterling program train you on body scultping, Laser hair removal and advance facial treaments? Why did you choose them VS. GCI?

How old were you when you went to esthetician school? I’m turning 25 and idk why but I feel too old lol I’ve been in the nursing field for a few years and it’s so draining. I’ve always wanted to be an esthetician but people always put doubts in my head so I also lack the confidence to go for it.

Congratulations, I’m preparing to take my esthetician test sometime next month. I’ve been an MA for eight yrs. I have some experience in makeup. To advance your level of makeup, did u take up a class or was UA-cam your teacher?
I was self taught first, then UA-cam. Years later, once I found a good school, they tightened up my skills a lot. You can find a good makeup artist in a lot of cities, but the school I went to in ATL always made sure we had some of the best makeup artists in the industry.
Someone already asked this question but I didn't see your response, did you have to retake your classes to get your license in NC or were you able to transfer your license over by paying a fee?
Hey, yea no you don’t retake any classes varies by state when I moved back to NC. I could just pay the fee & they send me my new number. Technically if I want to renew my license for GA, I can as well as NC. Now if you are doing a yearly renew ? Yes you have to take CE classes.

Did you also work the full time job while in school?
Yes, I worked full time remote. My job was so lenient, everything balanced out perfectly. I wasn’t overwhelmed. Balancing Sephora, School & a Full Time.

I’m about to start school for Esthetician, and you said your licensed in both states, so I’m assuming that the license does not travel across each state but my question is getting your license in one state then going to another would you need to retake classes at all for that new state or is it just a fee you have to pay to transfer it?
No, you’ll end up having to register when you move state to state. It’s really just knowing reciprocity states. Your school definitely should give you the lists of all 50 states. Follow and keep that guide at all times if you know you’ll be relocating. After graduation, I took the exam and applied for my license in GA & NC. Both were veryyyy easy.
