I’m thinking og getting back into scuba diving after a long break so I’m interested in watches I can actually dive in. So far I own the citizen pro master diver , volstok , invicta pro diver,invicta grand diver. Om also considering the Casio in this video , so far my number one is the citizen promaster diver great video

So far I've gotten over 15 years beating the crap out of my Invicta. I just can't kill the thing short of actually trying to kill it. It's an older model with a Miyota movement, but it's been bomb proof.

That's great to hear. I recently purchased that Pro Diver model along with it "all-black" version. I love them and I hoe they end up being a great investment.
i picked up a black pro-diver a month ago and paid only $62 CAD.. 67 something with the tax man... So in US Dollars a bit less than 50.... And so far excellent accuracy
Those miyota movements are pretty rugged and have good shock protection from what I've studied. Built well. This comment has made me want to buy a miyota movement watch. I don't care for the rotor wobble or lack of hacking
If you get beyond the hate for hate’s sake, the Invicta Pro Divers are SOLID. I started my watch obsession with one - it just kept on working.
My father's old Seiko 5 still runs even though it's over 60 years old. Never serviced it and it still works

I too have 3/11 but if you give the family watches as gifts they become your accomplices in crime. My family thought I was generous but they are just holding my collection.

I have three dive watches in my collection, Doxa, Jenny, and the Citizen. I wanted a solar watch and the Promaster has proven to be a very good choice. I like everything about it from its good looks and toughness.

Imo the stars of the show are the Pagani design and Heimdallr : amazing watches for the price and they both look way more expensive than they cost. Such a shame Pagani don’t do a 40mm version. Vostok wins the prize for originality though.

Great list! I got the Citizen promaster this summer and I've been using it for swimming here in Cyprus. It looks fantastic and the lume is amazing.
i wear that citizen promaster a lot and despite being 44mm it has a good lug to lug and it wears really well for it’s size

Great review. I just got a Vostok Amphibia, blue dial scuba dude in the mail a week ago. But that doesn't mean I don't need another dive watch. Really digging the Bomb Frog, I'd forgotten those even existed.

My brand-new Vostok Amphibia arrived today. You're not kidding about the stainless band! Didn't even remove the plastic from the band, put it back in the box, and swapped it onto a Barton canvas quick-release strap. It's my 4th Vostok and I love their quirks and ridiculous designs! Love your channel!

I can vouch for the Orient Ray, it's a really beautiful and versatile watch. It was my only watch for 8 years straight. I wear it everyday and everywhere. To work, to weddings and also to the beach.
I love the blue dial on my Ray II, and it runs +2s/day. I am very happy with it.

Where do I start! I have the Lorio, the Orient Blue-ray II, the Sharkey heimdallr skx oo7 Hulk homage and I was wearing the green Hulk Pagani design on wrist while watching this video. I also have the Blue Smurf version as well. My wife says I have to stop watching your videos so I was watching this one on the toilet this morning with the volume turned down low, I think I'm safe.

I got the Vostok Ampibia Neptune SE 960726 a few months back and love it. It's the watch that's on my wrist more than any other.
I've got my eye on the Amphibia Black Sea 2432/440795, but the price and the 45mm diameter are making be a bit hesitant. 45mm is fairly substantial when you're used to the 39mm of the 960726.

I've got 2 Heimdalrr; the 6105 as in this vid and the Darth Engineer seiko tuna can. Both have excellent construction and even better customer service.
Heimdallr watches are amazing! They also have an unbelievable Rolex Submariner homage, with ceramic bezel, solid end links, milled clasp, sapphire crystal, choice between NH35A or ETA 2824 movement. The NH35A version is only $179 USD. They also have the Seiko 62MAS homage which is an amazing watch, plus many more. Unfortunately most of their watches falls between $150-$200, so they couldn’t make it into this list, but for a little extra money, you get so much more.
Glad to see you getting into Vostoks Jody. I'm going a bit upmarket for my next one, the Amfibia Reef (full lume dial!) keep up the good work.

No joke the Vostok Amfibias are amazing. I took mine (Komandirskie 650539) scuba diving on the reef and honestly didn't expect it to hold up. No water came in at all, super easy to clean. An actual functioning, 200m water resistant watch for $75.
I bought my Vostok Amphibia Orange Scuba Dude off of your review and I LOVE it!! It's a great watch for the money and they do tend to multiply, I currently own the Amphibia and a Komandirski and every time I log into the Meranom web site I can't help but find something else to put on my wish list...
This video and the Best casios under $40 (my humble favorite kind of watch,) have earned you a subscriber in me. Definitely my current budget for watches as a new watch lover.
I have had hands on experience with 4 of these.
#1 Citizen great functional diver. Every day watch, felt a little cheap though
#2 Orient not as rugged as the citizen but nicer looks and the overall finish was nicer.
#3 invicta
#4 Pagani , the main thing that made me go invicta ahead of pagani is the build quality. Just felt like a better watch. The pagani did have a nicer dial though.
That Seiko SNZH57 is a beauty! I just ordered a Vostok Amphibia, but, I think I'll be putting in an order for that Seiko in a couple of months!!

I recently got a “Winner” dive style watch. Came with a fake gater strap but I’ve got a red curved ened rubber strap a chain one a bund as well as a nato, great fun & more spent on straps than the ticcer.
I bought the casio duro after watching this video. I love it!! everyday wear, got it for £30 from amazon. lovely quality finish to whole watch. thanks jody 👍
The "seiko 5 sea urchin" is the watch I wear every day 3 years going it ran -30 from the factory i just had it regulated and it's running +8 sec day now that watch has been in the ocean sevral times hot tubs beat and banged around unbreakable!!! Great video as always jody!!
FYI, crystal times now offers a sapphire crystal for the Casio duro! I got one a couple weeks ago and my duro looks incredible! It's so worth it! Double domed with blue AR. Love it! Love my Casio duro! Love this vid! Thanks Jody!

Good list there my man , have some of these already and I’d put the invictas quality above the pagani ,, the second hand on my pagani has some kind of crud on it when you look close , quality control must have had there eyes shut on that one , my collection of invictas are all spot on in every way , and my new citizen pro diver is my favourite, in my eyes better than the skx and I have one of those too , cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧

Well done & please keep these entertaining, expansive and opinionated videos coming. There are far too many videos on UA-cam that DO NOT take a stand or offer a SOLID opinion on a particular watch, and those reviews seem to be quite hollow. There are few channels that are a joy to watch as are yours. In fact, your recent video on SEIKO SERVICE bowled me over because it was astoindingly balanced and proved that YOU were being far more patient with THEIR suicidal watch service than they were with you. I have 3 of these (Duro, Vostok and Mako 2) and all of them are really good values. The Casio, in particular, is an insanely good bargain. It's a legit iso certified dive watch and I think it was 45 bucks when I got it. I really wish it were 42mm, though. 44mm is a tad big for my 6.75" wrist. The Mako 2 is probably the only watch in the rotation that gets as much wrist time as my skx. I can't imagine you'd find very many watches that can match it in its price range. Orient is killing seiko nowadays.
