      Still testing the Thunder II. So far all I can tell you is that the King GT is heavier and faster than the Thunder II :-) Very different scooters. I'm still learning a lot about the Thunder II though. Braking data is on my desk, but I haven't analyzed it yet. :-)

      We're actually really curious about how it would be in the snow. With the right tires it could be interesting. I'm not sure if dual motor would be a plus or not in deeper snow.
      I would be very concerned about getting stuck though. It's very heavy at 125.4lbs /57kg (measured) and would be difficult to pull out of a snow drift if something went wrong. -Paul

    wow i didnt realize this one was so dramatically better than the wolf king. that 55m range vs 33.4 from the king is amazing. id say that alone makes it worth the extra $800 over the price of the normal king (if you have the stamina to manage to do rides like that of course lol).

      Hopefully they will show up in more places soon! CST is the largest manufacturer of scooter tires. These don't appear to be exclusive to Kaabo either. The Thunder II that we unboxed a couple days ago has identical looking tires and a badge on the scooter saying "No Flat Tire". It's another bootleg, all these scooter companies are copying designs/frames/wiring patterns and using similar or same components for much of it but none can program the bike to display a correct reading on the battery??? My brother bought a scooter for 2k+ and one of his brakes just stopped working (after only using it a few times) surprise there was no pressure in one of the brakes (loss of liquid) the brake calipers looks like those good 4 pistons that Magura and Shimano sell yet after barely using it, having a major malfunction. Similar frame, wiring, brakes, motors, levers, suspension etc... it's almost exactly the same with that stupid battery percentage malfunction

    anyone watching this video who's on the fence. I bought one a few days ago. HOLY MOLY this is the most fun I've had in a damn long time. I'm still adjusting so I haven't gone past mode 2 dual motor yet. But it's awesome even in mode 2., Still has decent feeling torque and can go 27 which will probably be plenty for putting around. My old scooter was a Ninebot Max G30 and even in mode 2 this is a lot faster and more powerful. And there are still 3 higher modes (crazy) And coming from a scooter with no suspension, this thing rides like a Rolls Royce compared to the Ninbot (So cal roads are TERRIBLE terrible)
    Can't even imagine how it will be once I'm able to ride in mode 4 or 5. EGS's video pretty much sold me on it, I definitely don't want to go 60, but the range and acceleration are super and somewhere around 40mph will probably be perfect for me.

    Square wave controllers = carburetors, flat heads and side valves.
    Sine wave controllers = EFI twin cam, multi valves.
    More efficient, more powerful, just a superior way to turn the direct current from a battery in to a motive force via electromagnetic unicorn trickery.

    • @slick1908
      @slick1908 2 роки тому +1

      Square wave is more efficient at high speeds though. And way more reliable. I just bought a dualtron recently and this made the difference for me. Having the risk of a hall sensor break on the front motor and catapult me over the handlebars was not worth it. This is the exact same reason Dualtron X has a sinewave only on the rear motor.

    • @danny-FL
      @danny-FL 2 роки тому +2

      @@slick1908 Haven't heard of any issues like that with Nami or King GT. Yeah square wave is more efficient at speeds, but how long would you go at 60mph for vs 20-40 mph

    • @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide

      I also haven't heard of any lock-up failures. I'm having a hard time picturing how that would even happen.

    I'm 99% sold on this, of course, I was 99% sold on the Roadrunner, but after watching a few videos the acceleration on it seemed kinda low for me. And the awesome pro version's out of stock until like May or June. ESG's videos on this pretty much sold me. If anyone from Voro sees this, just a suggestion but you should come up with scooter specific discount codes. I mean saving money is saving money. But if I use ESG's code on a $1,399 Emove Cruiser I save $50. And if I use the same code on a $3,499 Wolf Warrior GT Pro I save... $50.
    This is just my opinion but a scooter of this price should have a $100-150 off code. Either way, I'll be ordering this Monday unless a new Kaabo suddenly announces a new scooter out of nowhere. Wolf King GT Pro Plus w00p w00p edition with dual 4,000 watt motors perhaps?

      I personally think it's overhyped for what it is. In the EUC world they are so much more efficient because they use a single motor and no moving parts beyond that and the suspension. Now the Hunter Quad brings us back to the stone age by putting on 4 zoom brakes 4 low power controllers and 4 motors for what reason? I don't like Wepeds but they do the same thing with two motors and two brakes and get better results...

      @@marianrosu9031 Yeah, its not for everyone. But I'm just saying I don't understand why that two wheeled scooter needs 4 of the same brake. For more maintenance and adjustment? So that it's easier to lock up the wheel? Because obviously if they wanted better braking performance they'd put some high quality brakes on it rather 4 cheap zoom brakes. Same goes for the motors and controllers, why 4? What's the advantage other than the fact that you can scream in the middle of the street that you have 4 of everything like they did on their presentation... A bronco xtreme 11 can get up to the same speed as that thing too...

Kaboo Ltd are not being helpful in resolving the matter and seem to be offering a poor ‘call centre’ level of customer service. And all other repair companies seem to fall under their umbrella. This is a good question. The Nami handlebars are 2" higher at about 42 inches (1.07m) from the deck, but either one is going to be really really good for taller riders. Ramier likes the GT better because he likes to ride fast, and even after adjusting the suspension on the NAMI the GT has better high speed stability. I like both of them, but I like the NAMI suspension better. The GT is a lot less expensive though. -Paul

I like it a lot, but I'm a big dawg with my 5p10, 240lbs, and I find the high speed suspension just not enough for my liking. It's possible to reverse the brake lines. You just need to bleed them afterward. It will take up some (maybe all) of the extra slack in the brake lines though, since they would be making an "X" as they cross over in front of the fork.
