This is just great. Many of the simplest ways to search in Google I have yet to try. I only knew about stock searches and advanced searches. This'll be helpful to read science articles.
2022, this video is still rocking. Just that "intitle" tip could save so much time in our lives...If Google ever do a projection about how much manpower time was saved with these tricks, it would be a significant number...
I thought Google had done away with the ability to search with boolean expressions. I am SO delighted to see I can again search with the "+" and get meaningful results.
TG, I have done numerous searches in my lifetime and as they say " if only I knew ". As Always very useful and relevant, all for the work smarter not harder philosophy. A massive thumbs up !
Much like the + and - operators, Google search also has the AND and OR operators. For example, I can search for iTunes OR Spotify and I'll get pages that mention one or the other. If I search iTunes AND Spotify I'll get pages that mention both, but without having a direct relation. (try it and see what I mean) Note that these operators have to be used in all caps to work.
No, it won't. It will give you pages that have both terms but also pages that have one or the other. Try it out, you'll see the results are different with and without AND.
Mind blowing Don't think I will ever remember much of this. I just usually just use the voice feature and skip the typing as I just discovered this a few weeks ago.
Ty @TechGumbo maybe this will help me out with something I am working on, cheers from AU btw your narrative is brilliant clear accent no drawl and u so do sound like an IT geeky guy but in the nicest possible way bro cheers
QUESTION TO THIS FORUM - If I enter 3 different words into the search engine, my three chosen words are slightly highlighted in the results. However, when I click on one of the links, my highlighted words are no longer highlighted within the website or document. Years ago, Google had this feature available. The chosen key words were highlighted in bright yellow both within the search results AND within the website or document. Does anyone know a trick to have the key words appear ''within'' the resulting webpage or document???
thank you for these video my students understand our lesson easily about online search and search skill was develope... I will cite your links to these video.thank you so much

Excellent tip Shubham. There are a lot of images that people can use without fear of violating copyright.

@@shubham_dalvi IT still is 😏
Instead of using quotes ,you can also use *verbatim* option in tools ...it will also give you the exact word to word search result.
Those are awesome tips! I especially like the search operators trick. Very useful!!! Keep up the good work.
I just learned the "+" operator really is not needed anymore, but the "-" operator can still be useful for narrowing down a search.
hose are awesome tips! I especially like the search operators trick. Very useful!!! Keep up the good work.

Man you post videos of tips and tricks i never knew i needed
So many things in life we didn't know we needed until we knew about them. At one time we all survived without cell phones. 😀
Subscribed. One of the best videos I've ever seen.
Much like the + and - operators, Google search also has the AND and OR operators. For example, I can search for iTunes OR Spotify and I'll get pages that mention one or the other. If I search iTunes AND Spotify I'll get pages that mention both, but without having a direct relation. (try it and see what I mean)
Note that these operators have to be used in all caps to work.
AND and OR are also great search operators. I don't use them as much as I should. 🙂
Or try Googling Pictures of white women with their children. Will horrify you.
You don’t need to use AND because Google will do this automatically.
No, it won't. It will give you pages that have both terms but also pages that have one or the other. Try it out, you'll see the results are different with and without AND.
Thank you for you hard work! That was very informative !
