See a few new faces in the band but you guys are just as tight as ever. World class musicians all of you. Catching a Cory Wong show is a bucket list activity for me
Hahahaha Kenny playing the Curb Your Enthusiasm lick during Cory and Petar’s arguments is everything lol
In The Stone is such a massively underrated EWF tune, I'm yet again blown away by a Michael B. Nelson arrangement. Whew!
100% agree. First heard it as a kid in the movie Drumline 😂Made me instantly fall in love with EWF and ive been a massive fan since that day 20 years ago
Vincen Garcia on bass is KILLIN' it !!!! Good for him. ;)
When your favorite modern band plays one of your favorite all time songs...
How does every recording sound so incredible, it's just a vlog and it sounds as good as any studio album
Board audio into a dope camera
Nice clean signal from a tight tight tight ensemble
FOH is recording. Either we're hearing the honed FOH mix (digital console so typically same / better mix every night) or a mix through a template after the fact. Pretty standard straight forward stuff these days. Camera / iphone sound is mixed in also. Easy.
Those sincopation remind's me on Casiopea 😊
Who else was itching to harmonise with Antoine in In The Stone..?!
Ok. Legitimitely. I have never paid for an online music tutorial or lesson. But if Stanley did a reasonably priced coupla hours of his tips, tricks and recommendations.... Fuck, I'd love it. Don't think I can think of another singer who I would say the same for, and I am a huge music fan. Incredible.
IN THE STONE YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
wow i'm never this early on youtube videos. excited to hear in the stone wong style
What a great singer . It makes so much fun to see that.
1:26 TIGHT!!! And that Bass!!! My God... followed by more Tight, as usual and Antwaun "gettin´ stronger ev´ry day" 👍
Just great musicians .... and Antwaun ... that voice ... stunning!
In the Stone is a top 10 favorite song. Period.
Hey man, thanks for doing the AMA last night. ya made a lot of people happy.
In aggregate this firehose of superb posts are held up by some underrated kinda-in-the-background talents. To wit:
1. Michael B. Nelson’s pencil
2. Jay’s chops
3. Kevin’s keys
Given his much deserved due:
Kenni
I really really really hope this is as fun for the band as it seems!😊
Even the mix of the rehearsal is TOP NOTCH... sad I missed these shows in Holland :(
Hell this version of In The Stone was tiiiight
in the stone has no business being THIS tight.......killer arrangement and playing as always
I hope one day watch you guys here in São Paulo ❤
She’s American 🔥🔥🔥
I was there that night and it was wonderful!
In The Stone is my favorite EWF song! I would lose my shit if they played that!
This was INCREDIBLE
Wow,chills......amazing, you all are great.
Can't wait to see y'all in Miami!
Grande Vince!
Thanks for coming to the netherlands man! and by the way, love to see you know the 1975's music, they have alot of funk strat guitar
Great picks for Antoine
I love everyone this this band so much, hope Sonny comes back once you're stateside again!
These blogs are awesome. Please come to Bratislava or Vienna!
it seems that someone copy pasted the description from the last tour vlog cause those timestamps arent right :P
Please tell me this In The Stone cover is available to listen on its own somewhere!
The Tower of Power Horns were the tighest. Back then.
Now I finally understand the comment about doing it in the "weekday key" during the show 😂
Love you Cory!! Would you guys be willing to fix the timestamps and titles for the chapters in the video? Gracias 🙏🏽
Ironically, Dave Grohl has said that his Nirvana drum parts (including the famous fill) are based on 70's disco beats....so there's your full circle.
Specifically, the drum intro of Burn Rubber by the Gap Band
What album is where are we now from?
Your gig in Utrecht was IN CRE DI BLE
Hopefully you'll cover some songs from TOP. THat would be awesome! :)
Cory (or whoever manages the account) you copied the timestamps from last vlog! oops haha
🎉🍻
Still waiting for the full version of that fill 😆
👍👍👍

For a second I thought y’all were gonna play She’s American by The 1975. Would’ve totally freaked out if you did
So gotta ask.... Did you REALLY play the tune down a whole step? Because if you did, that means the entire horn section had to sight transpose their parts? That's pretty impressive dudes.
T…th….thhhhhh…. TIGHT
We need EWF "Fair but so uncool" cover with Antwaun
here for the tiny saxomophone
stranglly reminds me of:"CASIOPEA-eyes of the mind"
Does anyone recognize the tune at 3:21 - 3:24? I think it sounds really good but I just can't find it.
"She's American" by The 1975
@@Piper2112 Thank you👍
😄👍👌
Dubray is right! :D
Can we get a foosball themed song title?
Is this a faces intro?
Sonny T descansando en una playa mientras estos pobres muchachos se matan trabajando.
having hard time finding "Where Are We Now" ... anybody?

That guitar leaning against the amp is giving me serious anxiety
String section sounding a bit out of tune🤔
