Ayo mine came without the adhesive so i just stacked some books on the side of it
You pull the strip off and the adhesive is there under it. Like a self-sealing envelope, if you've seen those. Where you don't have to lick the envelope, you just pull the protective cover off of the strip and press. No?

Why can't we make a home test for flu viruses? It would be helpful since the therapeutics/treatment only works within the first 48 to 72 hrs when you contract it.

Weird how zero Doctors give test kits out! Why?
If your insurance doesn't cover it. 1 pack costs $23.95
And believe it or not there are some insurances that don't cover it.

That's not weird. They can barely keep pharmacies stocked with enough test kits. Why is it weird that they can't also stock private doctor's offices? Better question: Why do people who always want to suggest something is "weird" never take the time to figure out the reasonable answer, preferring instead to hang out in rabbit holes with people spinning tall tales and reinforcing one another's mindsets?

I needed to pick up two prescriptions at Walgreens. My older sister suggested that I call them to get eight test kits before going there. The next day they had my prescriptions and eight free test kits. I'm not sure if they were free because of my insurance or not. Tested negative twice. Was feeling pretty bad before getting the tests but it has pretty much passed.
All instructions are in Spanish in my kit. I live in America and would appreciate English instructions when I purchase something in America.
My instructions didn't say the add the drops in, so I went through all the steps, then wondered why there were drops included in the kit. I see this video explain it, but nowhere in the directions does it say to add the droplets to the hole.
That does not sound possible. Also the manufacturer has their own video, probably. Binax does. But this one did show things clearly with an actual human.

As always, there is a point of confusion: what is meant by the word "both"? Both of what?
“Lines on both”- Both as in the ONLY 2 places the lines appear. On the “control” and “sample” portion of the test. Its not confusing you’re just not paying attention.

yeah it was confusing. she says both as though theres two little "windows" in the card for a line to appear but I only see one on the card.
That seemed so obvious I didn't even think about it. There needs to be a pink or purple line next to Both (the Control and the Sample), though, for the test to be considered positive. If there is no Control line, there is something wrong with the test and you should call the mfctr.
What is the control line? It disappeared mostly immediately…the Sample line appeared in a dark purple line. So I thought the control line would stay and “if no COVID present” the control line would remain visible and the sample line would not appear. But our test results were the control line (top line) disappeared mostly immediately … left very faint…and the sample (bottom line) appeared over the 15 min strong. We think yes on COVID…but ambiguous.
No lines appeared in mine so I think I got a bad test
You're supposed to wait 15 minutes before you check? No control line indicates a bad test and you're supposed to call the number in the instructions.
I had it once and was vaccinated twice so im fine although my nose felt like it melted it was pretty mild so i was ok and i still am and i hope that the americans will lower their Healthcare prices in where i live i dont have to pay healthcare

That's what I was thinking, but then I thought maybe it's good bc if someone does have a nose-stud, they'll know that it's still okay to do the test.

I didn’t pop positive until day five. This straight up sucks. 3 days in a row of pounding headaches, body aches, and a 102.9 temp is not fun. The first two days I had a sore throat and my legs felt like I ran a marathon. Now everything smells like new carpeting as well. It’s an odd disease.

That's confusing and contradictory to your first instruction that 2 purple lines on both windows means positive.

Thank you for this. I am sick of it all. My children attend school because my husband won’t allow homeschooling. Well wouldn’t you know, a school nurse tested my daughter for Covid. My children and I did not get vaccines nor test. My children were instructed to stay away from all testing. Sadly this woman coerced my 10 year old to be tested. She had a stomach ache and stuffy nose in school. I was not called until after the procedure was done. My daughter said she did not know what she was going to do and felt too scared and intimidated to stop her from administering the test. No one can be trusted.
