I think they should show to remove the bottle cap downside up as you twist the cap off; otherwise, if you do it like it shows you in the video with the opening side down...as you twist the cap off the liquid can drop out onto your finger due to gravity!
This is an excellent video explaining exactly, and clearly, what to do and what not to do in administering the test to yourself. Highly recommend watching this prior to reading the instructions.

I used one of these tests today but im having trouble interpreting the results, strangely i have a very dark line that appeared immediately in the sample section, and then a very faint line for the control that faded in over time (but remained faint). Basically it looks like a positive result BUT it is upside-down compared to the examples in the key. Is my test faulty or is it a confirmed positive?

compared to all other tests I have taken, this one is by far the worst. The 6 drops of liquid flooded the test strip immediately after folding the card, and it washed away the blue strip and turned both strips pink. Now I don't know if I do or do not have COVID - and I probably cant return this badly-designed kit back to Walmart.

Very disappointed! This test is very different from past tests I have taken. The instructions (if you can call them that) are hard to read and hard to understand. One little piece of paper at very little cost, should be included with step by step instructions. I will not buy this brand again. I had to throw one away because I thought it was faulty. There wasn't even a swab and the seal of the package was still engaged. Before throwing it, I was tearing it apart, trying to see how to it could ever be tested since the results area wasn't even close to the swab! I have always thrown away the swab, so I had to pull it out of the garbage can. Wow. Please make improvements.

No I only took two this is my second one but the one I took three months ago it was negative so I try to do it every 3 months if I can or if I feel funny or coughing
