i honestly hate covid.. 3 years we avoided it. 3 years!! then my brother goes out with no masks and goes in busy places. i’m 14 years old and i’m only on day 2 and i honestly it’s almost impossible to go through with it. i’ve been homeschooled for the 3 years and that was to just avoid it as much as possible. i’ve got a ridiculously dry and sore throat with red tonsils, get dizzy and headaches when i stand up, no energy, migraines, constant chest feeling, can’t breathe deep without coughing, can’t talk without sand paper feeling and breath, brain fog, 36.8 temperature and a high heart rate. i’m fed up on day 2. i just wish people would care for eachother and take precautions…

I was really sick with Covid for three weeks this October. I do not take any medication so I asked my doctor to order me in-home oxygen, i ordered pulse ox, I drank a lot of fluids, and took other natural supplements. I think the best thing I did was get the in-home oxygen. It really helped me I’m 68 years old and was very very ill with Covid. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. I just started driving my car this past week. Thank you for the information.

Managed to dodge Covid for 2 1/2 years. I am fully vaccinated and have 2 boosters. Covid started 6 days ago with a bout of nausea/vomiting 🤢 Sore ribs, extreme fatigue, headache, light headed, sinus congestion, but no fever at all. I took Mucinex every 4 hours which helped alot. Eating and drinking healthy foods and getting lots of sleep.
UPDATE: I hope everyone who responded in the comments is on the mend from Covid. It took some time but I recovered without going to the hospital. 🙏 Stay safe and take care of yourselves !

Yep. Dodged it for the same time. Just got it. Luckily my symptoms are incredibly mild however the loss of taste and smell gave me a panic attack for the first time in like 10 years. It came on so fast and was jarring. Even the air outside that I was breathing was just so bland. I can usually smell the grass and beautiful flowers. The water I drink somehow tastes bland lol. Everything else was luckily fine though it’s mostly just anxiety of having it that’s really made me shook. Hope you get help and get well!

I am a retired nurse practitioner in the US. I have despaired watching our government give out useless information on how to cope with Covid outpatient. Basically stay away from people until you turn blue, then report to the hospital so we can slap you on a ventilator to finish you off.
This video is no nonsense and very practical. It starts off with reassuring the listener and giving us step by step guidance and the thumbnails allow us to skip to an area of concern. Thank you Doctor, You are in my prayers.

Tylenol works but I'm worried about my liver. I know 3 grams is the total per day. Paxlovid may cause rebound symptoms ? Whoever made this virus really was arrogant.

Anyway, just wanted to leave a tip about if you are having trouble eating, I had a bag of banana popsicles in the freezer & eating & sucking on these popcicles was a life saver. It was the only food I could tolerate and they were very refreshing & helped alot with nausea also. I'm going to keep popcicles on hand they help so well. Hi, I tested + 5 days ago. Have worked in our Covid ICU since the beginning. Over 2 years, never caught it. Phizer vaccine I believe has helped. I'm 62 and diabetic. My Doctor prescribed Paxlovid, which seems to be doing its job. My symptoms started with a light sore throat, and mild malaise in the late afternoon, at work. Called in sick for the next day, and felt pretty horrible. achy all over, no fever. No headaches, but strong malaise. Stuffy nose, and weakness. Got tested on day 2, Very positive they said. Days 3 and 4, weak, tired. Congested, Never lost taste or smell, Today is day 5. I havent
had any chest congestion, I feel considerably better, mostly just weak when up around the house, still some aches. Still slightly congested. I think I'm getting off easy, and feel blessed. Maybe the fact that even at 62, im pretty healthy except for the diabetes, I work full time still,, and when im not working im very active, on the go, maybe that has helped also. Thanks for the video. Hope everyone here is doing well and back to normal.

Can’t fault the care and thorough checks but felt I was wasting there time, which was wrong of me to feel that way after listening to this video. After the checks they slowly got me up on my feet monitoring my blood pressure so this video has been spot on. This is day five since testing positive and still feel quite weak which is hardly surprising due to lack of appetite. Hopefully that will improve because I’ve not really eaten much since Monday evening, 5 days ago. Just hoping I feel more up to doing the things I enjoy so trying to remain positive through the process of recovering.

Monitoring and recording my vitals and other essential details at regular intervals, like a practitioner would do, and looking for" trends" helped me recognize my progress objectively. You placed me in the right frame of mind to handle my own at-home Covid recovery "journey" calmly. As I saw improvement, I became hopeful. Knowing the numbers of concern for BP, O2, pulse, temp., are in essence, truly vital. You taught me when to check again... "an hour later", and provided me much more invaluable info., and you definitely "took the stress out of not knowing what to do" at home. great information & I'm sure this made a lot of people feel more comfortable as they dealt with their illness & good info to know for those, like myself, that like to have this information readily available in case I catch this bug and have to go through this myself. I like to be prepared!!
    as of 1/31/2022 I'm un-vaccinated (considering it) & haven't tested positive for Covid-19, thankfully!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I had 3 vaccines and still got it. Muscle and bone ache, headache, weakness, cough. Staying in bed. Literally, opened a window and felt easier to breathe. Have put extra pillow. Having soup and drinks with honey. Chills come when I stand up. Tickling in nose and chest.
Thanks for all advices, especially about body position and breathing. Wish everyone easy recovery. My brother recommended garlic as well.

I've had all the typical symptoms, fever, sinus pain, chills, body aches, sore throat, persistant cough, no smell or taste, but it's the headache, fatigue, and back/lung pain that that is affecting me the most. I was hoping we would all escape this pandemic especially since we have tried so hard to avoid getting it and spreading it… being super conscientious and cautious! I’m grateful we were able to get vaccinated pretty early on as well as get our boosters. I really don’t think we’d be doing as well as we are and yet we still got pretty sick. I tested positive for the very first time on Thursday evening 21st July 2022. I believe my symptoms started on Tuesday 19th July which involved a very small but noticeable scratchy throat right in the centre, not sore, just scratchy. Didn't think much of it and went to bed. Woke up on Wednesday 20th July, aches and pains all over my body and such a dizzy head. My body was sore from the shower. I continued on with my day and worked as I believed it may have just been a small virus I picked up or something, throughout the day i notcied i had a high temperature. Got home after work and headed straight to bed as I was exhausted. 12 hours of sleep and during that sleep I sweated so much, my pillow and duvets were soaking. Woke up on Thursday morning feeling a little better, less aches and pains, off to work and noticed I was just generally feeling bleh and really fatigued. I tested on Thursday evening and positive right away with such a thick strong line on the LFT. Have been isolating in the spare bedroom to try and prevent my partner catching it. I generally just felt very fatigued over the weekend and slept alot. Tuesday morning 26th July 2022 I'm still testing positive, evening though the line is so very faint, unfortunately, still a positive reading. Fingers crossed I'll be clear tomorrow. This has given me a lot more covid sense now, as I did get very complacent. I believe I contracted Covid from Glasgow Central Train Station as I was working in that property on Friday 15th July 2022. Hope all whom have contracted this make a speedy recovery 🙏.

That was me negative after 9 days and back to normal activities and feeling like myself again. I had an aha moment as I was seeing your video and wanted to share it - the body may be expelling the virus and it’s effects, through air and water - and beside the obvious organs (bodys doors of Pooh and urine), it uses its 5 sense organs (bodys windows :) to push out water and air in anyways technically possible to keep new virus/bacteria out and push virus/bacteria out of the body (I’m thinking watery eyes, running nose, wet cough, wax in ears, sweaty skin during fever). It also oscillates between heat and chills.
I find the body amazing and when I realise what’s happening and why, it increases my tolerance and helps me accept the changes while my magical body does what it needs to do.
By no way I’m referring to those folks that go through a lot of pain, I’m just so fascinated at understanding our amazing body in dealing with whatever it is - amazing things our way!

You mention everything I have come across. I have eventually been sent to hospital as an out patient & still awaiting investigation due to chest problems & possible liver & kidney issues. I have also been told my ribs are either damaged due to consistent coughing or inflammation due to infection. This is a nasty virus that is prolonged which has added psychological problems due to memory fogging & financial hardship due to lack of functions so off work from my heavy lifting manual job.. I tried to be positive but it soon lets you know your not. Its not just physical, the mental side is also very stressful. Doctors visits are so slow due to awaiting individual tests every other week. Since I had taken every piece of covid advice & taken every jab available it's very frustrating. I turned 64 last week & for once I feel it & more. Good info though. I just wish health care were quicker & not dragged out with my case starting 1st February 2022 & ongoing.

Hope you are feeling better... Was 67 when I think I got it... and yes you really do feel alone... I have no family here so I "mothered" myself. Grateful for Amazon and for food deliveries and for the unemployment at the time or I would have been in big trouble.

What's interesting is that my nose and throat has been really itchy along with very bad congestion. Also, I am experiencing ear pressure. And was weak for 2 days. I decided to test for Covid and was positive.

I tested positive last night for the first time, but I've been really sick since Wednesday. My mother, who has end stage COPD, lives with me as I am her caretaker and I am terrified she's going to catch this. She's 73 and if she does, that's the end of her. On my end, this experience has been an entire roller coaster ride. Yesterday, I slept nearly 20 hours. I slept about 16 today. No fever today, no projectile vomiting either. Congestion on and off. I had 3 vaccines, so I'm hoping this eases up and goes away very, very soon. I'm mostly hoping that my mom doesn't catch this, I'm really scared for her. I've done everything in my power the last 2 and a half years to keep this away from her, I even worked through the shut down because I was 'essential' [factory worker, gag] and I didn't catch it. I'm really disappointed in myself that somehow, I let myself slip.

@Rolling Withthepunches Thank you very much. She did get it, and she needs to be in the hospital. She won't go though, she's very sick but she refuses to go to the hospital. I have a nurse coming out today to assess her and I am hoping she can be convinced to allow me to call 911 to take her. Thank you so much for your kind words.

@@mattmatical2235 Thank you so much. I really don't know how to live without her, I've taken care of her so long. The house is very quiet now. They told me she wasn't going to die, they were going to move her from the ICU on the 12th. I tested negative and went to the hospital and got to talk to her, she sounded great. I told her I'd come see her in the morning and bring her a Coke. Then at 1 am I got a call that her oxygen had dropped to 85% and they had to intubate her. On the 14th I had to make the decision to take her off of life support, and on the 18th she passed. Her covid turned into sepsis and went into her already really damaged lungs. I feel awful.
