No please, don't. Just find a ridge filling base coat, or a smoothing base coat. The top part of the ridges is the stronger part of the nail, if you buff that you will make your nail weaker. Just try to cover them, ridges are not a bad thing or anything unhealthy usually, they are natural most of the time.
Hi! Question about the cuticle oil - should I wash my hands after applying the cuticle oil or do you just let it dry? My mind is having a hard time wrapping around nail polish sticking to a nail with oil on it lol
No no, U don’t right before polishing. The last oil step is if you are gonna be done and not polish that day! Never ever polish anywhere near oil, your mind is correct :)

Mine are growing so badly,the cuticle nippers are my best friend since I was 12 , any way to slow the grow down? Is it possible for a cuticle remover to damage your nails? My problems with splitting/breaking nails started few monts after I swapped soapy water soaks into OPI PRO SPA cuticle exfoliator- coincident ? or quite possible was too keen I left it on for too long 🤣😂Thanks again Mxx
I have reduced my cuticle growth by A LOT, by using cuticle remover as part of my routine and oiling daily. It's made a nice difference for me. I'm not familiar with soapy water soaks because I haven't done soapy soaks in years (since I discovered cuticle remover). I don't know if cuticle remover can damage your nails, it's never damaged mine but that's anecdotal. I would check with a doctor if you are concerned. Thank you!
