RIP John Bardon. John Bardon was a veteran actor and appeared in loads of television programmes over the years.
Got him in a Sweeney episode and Minder as a villian.

He played a bookmaker in Disney’s One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing.

When Max arrived Jim's dark past was revealed, which gave the character more depth in storylines.

Max & Jack would’ve been very young here, early 20s at least. 10 years before Max’s arrival in 2006 and 11 years before Jack’s in 2007. Max would’ve made his own life by now, left home by now, he would’ve married Tanya and had Lauren at this point. Not too sure about Jack though.

They didn't exist. Max and Jack were written into the show later and the Brannings' backstory was changed to accommodate them.

@charlottebryant2088 , no, they didn't and yes, it did. Carol originally had two sisters (April and Suzy) and one brother (Derek). Jim later said he had five children, although the fifth was never mentioned by name. Max arrived much later but was never before mentioned by the Brannings and then Jack was created, making it six. Max and Jack were retconned into existence.
So Alan realises Nikos has done a bunk, and April’s heartbroken, and proposes to Carol and wants to marry her there and then? So April would be sitting through another wedding when she’s just been jilted?
Alexander Jones Alan pre-planned the wedding to be after Aprils wedding and April helped him pull it off
The whole thing was pre planned, it would have to be for a Church Wedding as the Bans have to be proclaimed 3 times.
I wonder with the 2008 re-runs on iplayer, the other suzy (maggie) is in it and I wonder why her kids are not mentioned.

@@miabrucefan managed to catch it on the iplayer re-runs. Her son would only be late teens in that point. Given how she is, she must of done something awful to them.

@@miabrucefan I think shes been de-aged since that clip of Jim's first appearance. Suzy was certainly interesting but I'd love to see April again!

There was a time (Jake Wood) came there in the early 90s but not as Max
4 of max and jacks siblings were seen in the 90s. Max and Jack appeared in the 2000s and Suzy returned but was recast
Why weren't Max or Jack at the wedding
Max didn’t see Jim for 17 years. This was 10 years before he arrived.
Max and Jack didn't even exist in 1996. Jim's only son was Derek. The characters of Max and Jack were created in the 2000s and 1996 was retconned.
They didn't exist. They just pretended Max and Jack didn't want anything to do with the family back then. Which isn't that hard to believe due to Derek and Jim's behaviour
