Very touching, & inspiring, in any number of ways. I used to go to their home in Hyde Park, NY, just to experience them in whatever way I could, her gardens, & of course, her bigger than life spirit & personification, his final office, where his spectacles, cigarettes, & cigarette holder still sat on his final desk, outside of the White House, at his Hyde Park, NY estate. We hear many stories of who our leaders really were, but I'd like to think there was some truth, here & there. So many have their light & dark sides, & then we have our shadow government & true controllers & owners of this precious, yet highly deceived planet, this fiction that we have been enslaved under. I still have hope in We, The People, of America & globally, where we can one day rise up, respect self & each other, overcome tyranny & authoritarianism, become empowered to get who & what we truly are & unite, as One. Such a planet, we inhabit, where truth, quite probably is, much stranger than fiction. The Human spirit must prevail, & liberty & freedom must ring out for & from one & all. imho
Great scene. I visited Hyde Park yesterday. I live within an hour's drive. It's incredible how much Eleanor and FDR accomplished in their lifetimes.
Eleanor Roosevelt was a woman of amazing intelligence and compassion. She overcame so many discourgements to help others .
