Unfortunately in not gonna be able to give you brands simply because the holder for my radio was in it already with no logo on it and my antenna was given to me and it was off a 172! But I would go on aircraft spruce website they have all of this stuff and it will work perfectly! Thank you for watching!
Hey Jon, is your iPad mini WiFi and Cellular? I think ForeFlight needs WiFi and Cellular but I haven't tried it yet. Winter ceilings are too low too often here in the Pacific Northwest, or the Northwet! What generation is it? 6th Gen and do you use an Apple Pencil? I think the pencil will come in handing in Class C Love watching your videos! Also love that 12 volt accessories panel above your head. Love to see a closer look someday. Thanks. Hey Brad! Well foreflight will work with any ipad if you have a stratus or sentry unit adsb in because it will supply it that info however getting one with cellular is a great idea because it will still show your location if the adsb in unit takes a crap! I don't use the pencil because you're not really touching it to much when you're flying and foreflight has made it very user friendly plus all the mounts block the holder for pen! Best holder which I do have for flying other aircraft is pivot! Challenger has ram mount! Depending on what plane I fly I switch it. I have found using the media mod to be much easier to use then that GoPro audio adapter and its cheaper. plug audio in and charge all in one case. If you're using the stratus adsb in you don't need a cellular version iPad. The stratus provides GPS. Great video.
This is true however if your adsb unit dies or loses signal which does happen you are up there with no GPS. Cellular gives you that so it's a worth having safety net! And media mod is something I will try at some point but I have this foe now and it works fine! My audio isn't Hollywood quality of course! 😆
Challenger is a great aircraft! Sorry if I missed this, but do you have doors, or plan on using doors at some point? I know when I flew with doors on it definitely makes you use your feet a lot more 😀. You probably know this, but it is easy to duct heat from the engine to the front cockpit. Of course, makes no difference unless using doors.
Yes it's a separate PTT it's also plugged in line if you look at the scene I'm talking about plugging in the go pro audio you can actually see it plugged in next to it. Dang with I would have covered that. Sorry

I have pictures and videos of it on my other devices which I don't know how to retrieve them I'm far out of proficiency I need to find someone in the midwest with a challenger 2 to ride with for a day or so
What oil do you use for your engine and ratio do you mix it? Also, maybe you mentioned that in the past, are you running an electric fuel pump as a back up?

I really Appreciate this video. I am planning on joining an ultralight association this spring. Looking into purchasing a challenger. I see each one is uniquely built. 2 questions. the Radio is for both tower/ground and two waw between pilots? and second is about Stratus. you dont have to answer. I asked two CFI's and both said they dont know because they fly airplanes and not ultralights with mode C transponder. Im trying to be careful because your not an instructor. But if you would kindly look at fore flight and lookup airstrip 3TE. the air field falls within a magenta ring that says mode c ads and b out. do i need a transponder or will the Stratus help. but you said its not for them to see you but for you to see them? trying to see if i can fly in and out of this airfield with ultralight. I understand for most part how to read sectional. i am close to class B with airspace from 4000 feet to 10000 and 6000 to 10000 feet. i will stay clear of that area for sure
Yea the radio is for both! If you live in the megeta you will need adsb out! The stratus is only adsb in so you wouldn't be able to fly from there. Now you can get it installed but you would need a registered challenger and I license sport or private! My Challenger 2 is an LSA not ultralight! I'm a private pilot. The channel the cotton patch his name is Jason his challenger ll is equipped with all of the stuff you need if you want to drop in and ask him about it! Thanks for watching
All 2 seat challengers are registered LSA unless it's being flown illegally so I've heard people call them that before but it still requires registration. I don't know anyone in my area which is east Texas but soon I will be working on my cfi! Where do you live?

Honestly I live I'm TX there really isn't a reason to. If I ever move up north I would definitely add doors and heat!

We modified the fuselage, modified the wings, put electric flaps on it we cut the flapperons in half
We did so much to it I can't explain it all here.

I run Amsoil Dominator! I do 2.6 ounces per gallon so 13 ounces to every 5 gallons! Yes I use a fuel pump for all operations under 500ft AGL!
