Sweetheart market was my first job when I was 15 years old. I live on the dead end street that's right around the corner. I miss this place, it was such a nice grocery store that was family owned and everyone was so nice. I was so heartbroken when I found out it was closing. I went to school with the owners daughter as well... 😔 those were the days
I remember shopping here every week with my brother, sisiter, and mother. What a shame Mom and Pop places like this close down. It was a landmark for North Syracuse. We shopped here from 1969 until we moved in 1979.
