I ordered the book! Can't wait to see it. It looks like a big book!
Where can I purchase you books?
All of my books are available on Amazon here: www.amazon.com/Bonnie-Barker/e/B00NGFKUT2
Some of the Leisure Arts leaflets are available in craft stores (Michael's, AC Moore, etc.). Thanks for asking!
Thank You Bonnie, I am looking forward to getting your book. It has just become available in the U.K. I am a great fan of your work and have made several of your afghans and have them on Ravelry here www.ravelry.com/projects/Maryfairy?set=aran-throws&view=thumbnaile . You could say I am "hooked"

I don't understand why you worked on the stitches on the side of your work?
it would be easier for me to understand if you just turned your work and kept crocheting on the wrong side...
Not sure I understand your question Dale. Can you clarify?
sorry, I know you stated that for demonstration purposes you were working on the side of your piece, but I did not understand why you didn't just chain up however many chains you needed at the end of the row and then turn your work to keep crocheting. That was confusing to me. I have to say that I love the stitch and hope to use it in my winter crochet project. I am not criticizing your work..I hope it doesn't come across like that.
Actually I was working a small swatch with filler (or bordering) stitches on each side. Generally this stitch is crocheted with other cables and/or fabric stitches on both sides, and not alone, so this shows how the cable may connect with other stitches in a row. Even if I made only the cable, I would need a couple of extra stitches (at least one before and one after) to complete the stitch. Thank you for clarifying. Please feel free to ask questions anytime.
