Hey friends, it's been a while. This is a new kind of video i’m trying out. A series where i talk about elite units of history and what made them so powerful on the battlefield. I’m still working on full battlefield videos as well.
I recently read 2 of John Keegan’s books; The Face of Battle and The Mask of Command. They’re both so good and i'd highly suggest you guys check them out. The Mask of Command especially where you really get an intimate and comparative breakdown of what Alexander the Great, Wellington, Grant and Hitler where like as leaders
If you have any book recommendations please let me know, as well as your feedback which I always look forward too

A good short story, the Banner is named the "Beauceant", and the Templar red cross is the Cross Pattee. The history of the Templars is not as simple as it is told, and they never ceased to exist, why would they, because they were one of the leading military and economic powers in the world at the time, and had a large fleet of ships. Also where did the so called "pirate flag" originate from ?
