The polarisation of the UK leaders wearing absolute garbage and the leader of a dirt poor country like Eswatini going full bling is crazy. Part of me feels like it's crazy for a leader of such a poor nation to live so lavishly, but then I realise if I was in that position I'd probably do the same.
A watch is also a tool for the leaders to portray their image to the public. Modesty is understandable, but I have no idea why the poor nation leaders would show their people their wealth, perhaps just to rule by power.
