I've been listening to metal for over five decades. There is nothing better than Lovebites. The other bands are good, but for me personally, it's not close. "Stand and Deliver" music video, " The Hammer of Wrath" live, "Winds of Transylvania " music video - all on their official UA-cam channel. Go down the rabbit hole some more with these. Great reaction. This is my all-time favorite song by any band. The live version is phenomenal. I just think the studio version makes this song shine more.
There are a lot of good bands out there and a fair few great bands and then there's Lovebites who are on a level above another level. Simply put, they are as close to the perfect band as possible, still a young band in relative terms, yet already being talked about as one of the greats, which is understandable when you see and hear them. 🤘🎤🥁🎹🎸🐺

Meet the new bassist ,Fami. She joined last October, and she fits right in. Title track and 1st single from the newest album released earlier this year. This , and the 2nd single, Stand and Deliver(Shoot 'em Down) both start with bass intros. I think they picked those to say, meet our new member, here she is. The bass parts were written before she joined, but she brought her own style. Yes, they are awesome live, just as good or better than studio. The live comes from their concert this past spring, released as a DVD in August, Knocking on Heaven's Gate. their first show in 2 years because of lockdown and Miho leaving in 2021. The first two songs you reacted to by Lovebites are great, but Judgement Day is one of their best and there are another ten more better than Holy War and Glory to the World. Next song "Hammer of Wrath" live.
This is one of the best metal songs I've ever heard in my life. And I wouldn't bother with babymetal, they're more of an idol group that sing and dance to metal music. Unless you're into that sort of thing. Now if you're into upbeat killer hard rock riffs then band-maid is a pretty awesome band.
I don't think LOVEBITES will ever do something in the studio that they can't pull off live. The live performance is very often better IMO. The fact that they have 4 main albums and 4 major live recordings probably says a lot about how their live shows are regarded.
