    Certainly looks a very scenic pass with nice road surface. Didn't realise we were so close last year but you can only do so much, there are so many to choose from. Nice video.

      Morning John, as I have more time to ask questions at the present time, I see that like myself, you guys seem to like Northern Spain. I was wondering where you Yorkshire Lads are planning to visit/film abroad next?...once we can ride again! Cheers, Paul.

      @@YarroMoto morning Paul, we have toured Europe for more than 30 years but mainly France, Germany and Austria. A little Italy and Corsica. We never did Spain in all the years working with Mars as they did not have a site with bikers there. So we tried the Picos after seeing all the videos and really liked it but we were a bit pressed for time and early in the season which really spoiled the experience ( that and the long boat trip). So for that reason we want to give it another go. This year we were considering Ireland but commitments made us choose Scotland again just for convenience realy as some don't want to commit time and money to travel to Europe. Places I / we are considering :- Bulgaria, Norway or Croatia region.

      @@JohnBurnet1 You've done a lot of years touring too. Bulgaria and Norway on my hit list too. Been to Croatia but so hot, preferred cooler wooded roads via Slovenia, so been back there three times now, gorgeous. Let's hope we all get some riding in this year! Take care, Paul.

      @@YarroMoto Hello Paul. I currently have a BMW R1200GS and a Yamaha MT07. I use the MT07 to commute to and from work all year round. I am currently looking for a new bike to tour on, and although I am looking at a KTM, my research is looking like the Triumph is ticking all the right boxes. Just test rides to complete now. I love the Alps and I was planning a trip back there this year. I also love touring Scotland (which might be more realistic given our current situation) Take care and stay safe. Mark

      Good morning 'David Carson'. I've asked one or two others this question...do you prefer to watch touring trips in a couple of large episodes, like my previous trips (50-60mins each)...or do you prefer to watch more detailed, but a longer series of DAY1, DAY2, DAY3 etc...? I'd appreciate your thoughts. Cheers, Paul.

      Well I still prefer the longer videos, if you look at your most popular video is the hour long alps 1 by some margin, I realise it may be too long for some, but you can always stop and start it. I find the videos done by the day a bit of a hassle as you have to keep starting the next one and going through the intro each time.
      I think your main feature videos are close to perfect, you can then as you have already done, produce highlighted edits of specific, passes, roads that people might have a specific interest in
      Some people I have seen on youtube go on a 14 day ride and then produce 14 boring videos, we don’t need to see every minute of each day, just the interesting stuff. 🙂

    Hey Paul! Great videos, great production value. An envious American watching these videos in the February chill, anxious to get back on my own motorcycle! I've watched a number of these European Pass videos and all the riders seem to have the Adventure style motorcycle, the BMWs, the Triumphs, the KTMs, etc. Do you see any Honda Gold Wings or other such Touring motorcycles on these European trips or rides in the mountain passes? Thanks for sharing and keep the shiny side up!

      Hi Lewis and thank you very much for your generous feedback. Hopefully, we're about to come out of full lockdown and can legitimately ride for pleasure. So, as the weather appears to be getting warmer here in the UK, we can get out and clear our heads. To answer your Q, yes, all types of motorcycles can be found on the Euro Passes (I just edit them out of my vids...only joking!). Some of the Passes would be challenging two-up and fully loaded on Goldwings and other such bikes because of their weight...so, adventure style would be my recommendation. Make sure you Subscribe and I'll post more touring vids asap. Stay safe, Paul.

    can anyone tell if they can film a trip to austria? isn't forbidden to film there?

    • @YarroMoto
      @YarroMoto  3 роки тому

      Hi Aivis, it's a good question. After returning from my trip in June 2019, I saw a brief Post on Facebook saying that you cannot film in Public...which was news to me. After much Googling on Austrian websites this morning, I've now given up looking for the details to be honest. I wouldn't film in towns at all. Be aware that by filming out on open roads & mountain roads, there MIGHT be random Police stops because they are now monitoring loud exhausts in certain areas of Austria & Switzerland. If I was challenged, I would plead ignorance and use a back-up reason that I would blur out any public faces during the editing process...I take no responsibility for your actions but have a great trip! Paul.

    hi! which software o apps did you use to show the map. Google terrain ?

    • @YarroMoto
      @YarroMoto  4 роки тому

      HI Gihan, I use Google Earth Pro to plot out my route with visible notations, then I use a screen recorder (Quicktime Player) whilst using the Google icons to 'fly' along the path I need....it can take up to half a day of practise 'flights' before I capture the path I need...or edit smaller 'flight' sessions together in the edit, if it's particularly awkward to do in one go. The trouble I go to for you guys! 😂
