This is really a great and helpful video. I prefer 745 as it has much better and clearer sound. The only thing I am not sure about is the choice of color. Which color finish looks better in a real life? Satin black or rosewood? Thank you for your answer.
Glad you enjoyed the video! The choice of colour is really down to personal choice, and the Satin Black and Rosewood finishes are equally popular. The choice often comes down to the colours of the decor in the room in which the piano will be going.
Thank you for the comparison Richard Lawson. I plan on ordering the Clavinova 745 for a few reasons. The sound on the 745 is much clearer and the 745 is a more professional looking piano, it is worth the extra $1000 for the bigger piano. You are also getting wood feel vs plastic keys and the back is a bit bigger. I am going to order the matt white one.
@@midnight4109 I think the same way as you. Also, I didn't even know they had a 785 and a 795. I thought 775 was the highest model for the uprights. To me much like it is not wroth it to go from the 745 to the 775 because it is more artisan, I think you feel the same way about your 785, it's not worth the extra $2k. Also, remember this for $10,000 you can get a GP 795, top of the line digital grand piano. If all goes well, I will trade up to that in a few years.
Correction Richard…the CLP 725 is the most compact in the 700 series I believe. Just wanted to make that clear because you said it was the 735 and 745 when there Is in fact a 725 model that’s even smaller.

Please!…Why should I buy a clp745 after using the Yamaha Smart Pianist App and getting the CFX sound? I will buy a P45 and use the CFX sound from an iPad again. Am I right?..What changes after the sound comes from the iPad, please?
Hi, the wooden keys of the CLP745 alone make it worth the higher price, as these make a real difference to the authenticity and responsiveness of the action. And the more powerful amplifiers give the sound a lot more depth as well.
Listen bro in my opinion the differences are not worth the price if the money is problematic for you the differences are not big at all in my opinion the 735 is considered a premium piano if money is not an issue then yes buy the 745. So what did you buy in the end? lol
If money is nothing for u upgrade if not don't like just thing about it all 700 siris have the same sound quality the only maby different is that the 45 and 75 more louder but u don't even need it to be louder cuz if don't planing to play in a big stage infront of alot of people no bro , and even if u buy the 75 u will not use max volume cuz of the Neighbors lol the wooden keys are nice but difntliy not worth 1000 more dollars if u not rich lol ,
Hi Richard, thanks for your review. I have a quick question: even if the clp735 hasn't got bluetooth, it's still possible trough USB or AUX to use the digital piano's speakers to listen a backing track from a mobile phone?
@@RichardLawsonPianosLtd @Richard Lawson Pianos Ltd ok, thank you so much. Could you please answer to an other question? I saw that both digital piano have usb to device and usb to host. I know it's possible to connect the digital piano to a pc and record a midi file, but I was wondering if is it possible to play the digital piano with a plugin I may have on my pc (for example a famous piano plugin is Keyscape Collection by Spectrasonics). Can I play one of these two digital pianos using those plugins (I mean if I can hear the sound of Keyscape Collection through the speakers of the digital piano). Thank you in advance for your kindness.
This is really informative and helpful..this is how a comparison should be done..Thank you so much.
Really glad you found it so useful! Thanks
Thanks for all these important information!!!! Very professional!!

I feel the same way and with some of the deals currently available went for the CLP-785.

hi, i wanted to ask you if in your experience it was worth spending more money on the 745 than the 735?

That's right, you can connect a smart device to the CLP735 via USB cable.

Nice playing
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Would all the clp 700 series sound the same through headphones?
Thanks
Yes, that's right, since they all have the same binaural sampling alongside (improved) Virtual Resonance Modelling (VRM).
Hello.. why n Yamaha site clp 735 has TipoGrandTouch™ keyboard: WOODEN keys (white only)
Thanks for this, what is this arrangement of the swan, by who ?
Glad you liked the video - the arrangement is by Alexander Siloti.
I'm so confused whether to get this CLP 745 of Roland's HP 704! Which one you think is better?
the question is what YOU like better, likes are personal, so you have to try them out both.
Valor ???
The best is clp 775 not 785
