    What an excellent Transit MK1 you have, the V4 sounds great by the way. Is this the 1700 or 1500 cc?

    nice camper but you should put the 2.5 diesel engine in to it, very reliable engine. known as the banana engine over here in the uk. although a bit noisy

      Well... the petrol V4 is also not unreliable, but there are some huge advantages not swapping the engine. In Germany I would lose my historic plates, resulting in higher tax, higher insurance and not being allowed to enter city zones with pollution restrictions. And it would surely result in a lower resale value. But all of that could be different in your country... so I am just talking about the situation in Germany here.

      ok i see what you mean it would be of no use then, its good to keep original anyway,good luck and many happy trips in your camper, we have a 1990 mercedes 208d autotrail and we love it .@@CubeofCars
