Bought my goat v3 last month after watching your videos (using your code of course) I’ve been super pleased with it so far. It’s an absolute blast. Thanks big dawg
I think that's accurate for the highest start strength it's almost too much lol I stick to the middle start strength even that rips.... Anyways this might explain the changes in the bike description it's like goat didn't realize what they had
Not surprised your channel was the first I could find to show off their new batteries. Really appreciate it. Can’t justify the price or added weight now, but it does look nice. If people report good durability through the next few months I might consider it.
Been waiting for someone to review the new battery! I’m going to wait until the price drops a bit but I’m glad to see that the extra weight isn’t having a negative effect on the speed. Thanks for posting this!
Awesome Chit! Fitment looks perfect and sleek! Downsides are no locking mechanism(theft prevention) and weighing in at 51 lbs. Holy mother! Northeast batteries version only weighs about 30. If that one has a locking mechanism to boot, that could sway my decision. But I have time.
Thanks for the video. $1600 for that battery ! Crazy too high. Although a lot of UA-camrs get a lot of free stuff from the companies to promote the products.
very nice! looks like a great addition. im 6'4" 230 lbs and yup old 63 been torn between this and the ghostcat. I have street ebikes that are ok for that purpose. I see the Goat is a fast street ebike - aww I like that extra battery! but I seldom ride streets on the bikes anymore. [my choice] I live in the woods and there are miles of logging roads [trails too, but Im not expecting an ebike to do those] I have a 4 wheeler and it does fine [just noisy. same for my dirt bikes] Ive been looking into AWD ebikes also mid drives wow that talaria MX5 you have looks impressive [yeah the toggle regen :) ] but another that might be more street friendly. I like there are pedals "If" I have to. lol Im a bit too tall to pedal these mini bikes, but in a pinch? a break down? a power outage? I can pedal if I have to. And I feel for ya living upstairs and in the city? I live in the woods, so ppl arent around to steal my stuff, critter damage will happen when left unattended. my place is ground level - so I drive into the shop. when my wifes not looking I can park in the kitchen, until she returns ;)
My Power Goat frame battery arrives tomorrow, so it was great to see your install for the M/G. Great job on the video! Looks a bit cooler than my location in Port Charlotte, Fl. Where are you? Moved down from Maine....
Thanks for the stairs demonstration gonna be me with the lyric graffiti X next month but I think it will be lighter than the goat with the 50ah battery
Oh wow, that looks like a nice bike.. expensive too! Yea man, might wanna start getting into stair shape now, it says its 119lbs! I'm pretty sure the Goat with the extra battery is closer to 150.. Its thicccc
I'm still getting on dual battery setups. Hopefully, these aren't dumb questions. Does the battery blender balance both your batteries? So they dont have to be the same volts to start with? Secondly, how do you charge the batteries? Separately? Much appreciated! I totally want this setup. Planning to use your code.
@vinceher5885 You have to charge separately. The big battery has an 11amp charger with a different plug. Batteries do not have to be at the same voltage, One battery can be completely dead and you can still ride. I was actually thinking about taking the top battery off for shorter rides
I went with the second reg battery. Not the big one you got. The reason is I want the ability to go to 72 volt. I got 58 miles at 30mph and it should get over 120 miles at 20 mph just with 50 ah.
How bad is the Motor Goat at climbing hills compared to the Dual Star? Would it be able to handle Diablo? Admittedly, even after getting my Dual Star, I'm still kind of pining for a more compact, scrambler style ebike. But I live in a pretty hilly area. I was actually surprised to hear how much you still like the Goat--I thought it would've been lost in the void between the Dual Star and your emotos.
I think the Goat would have no problem at all doing Diablo other than it might use a TON of the battery capacity. It spikes right to 3000 watts really fast and if you're going uphill it will stay at that level a lot. I like the Goat mostly for urban riding, the suspension isn't very good for offroad. Fun to zip around on for sure. After adding the 50ah frame battery its an absolute tank now, so I find myself wanting to drag it up and down the stairs less often.. wouldn't be an issue if I had a garage
@@shootthechit Awesome, that's good to hear. Yeah, I mostly use my Dual Star for street commuting (albeit, hilly)... I might consider adding the Goat to change things up when I want to... I just don't know if I can justify TWO ebikes. 😅
I can't imagine that good if the charge amps is 11. The line amps wasn't mentioned but I would assume 50amps, with that much capacity can't be many amps per cell. Still can't beat a Lishen pack from Amorge. Edit: 11amps at 110v and 14amps at 240..not bad but still Amorge wins
Beautiful! That company did their thing with that battery! I dont think super 73 does that. You have to get a custom battery from like powerful lithium. Which is not bad at all but why not stick to the same company. Thats just me.
@@shootthechitIt was always $1500+tax. I just got mine today and installed it. I did not quit until I could put all 6 screws in but then the frame isn't bolted all the way right like I like it so I'm trying to find a compromise. I wouldn't recommend anybody buy this battery if u have a walkup unless u walk them up separately then maybe. I can't wait to take this joint out for a test range run.
might be able to put down or install a board of wood on 1 side of the stairs and throttle the bike up the stairs while walking up the stairs etc. or just keep getting that free workout : O )
@Ken-r4d mine says 14 amps at 240 volts, 11.5 Amp at 110. It's possible it's different but I bet it's the same one. I ordered mine quote awhile ago , maybe got it early
My life would be so much funner if I didnt ride by the same people everyday. I cant say crazy shit and then see them the next day...Small town problems. I seriously thought about this bike but I ended up with a Ghostcat V3 Pro. 60V will have to wait till next summer

I'm glad you like it! Its a fun bike and quite practical
I noticed on their website the torque on the newest versions is now 170nm up from 110nm. That's a huge difference.
I saw that too. I wonder what changed? That seems like a lot of torque for a gearless hub motor.
