Never in a thousand years would I have believed that the words "western", "folk", and "metal" went together but here we are
Some guys are awesome to do exactly that
Wind Rose did some songs about that. Search for Dance of Fire, Fallen Timbers and The Wolves' Call, they are pretty good songs.
Um hi 👨
I never thought "Viking" "Gospel" "Metal" would go together until Nanowar of steel came along
check out Orden Ogan
IF you ever get a chance to collab with Sabaton that's will be the greatest day ever
He did! Collab on Fields of Verdun
Wait wait wait, REAL SHIT?
Not only Fields of Verdun...Antti collab for the orchestral version of the full album "The Great War"...and in The Future of Warfare with Floor Jansen
With Civil War, too. That NEEDS to happen!
Aj Bagniewski
Especially if it was about Geronimo, Pancho Villa, or Custer’s Last Stand
Yee-
(And I cannot stress this enough)

Darn tootin'. :)
Ah, a fellow Fustercluck fan.
Swampsniper?
Swampsniper
tf2 engineer: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE- "EXPLOSIONS"
If we lived in the middle ages, you'd have been my royal composer, Antti. I'd have given you a huge room full of all the instruments you wish, all the gold to sponsor your compositions and a personal batallion to guard you on the field to sing for us in battle.
And you'd win every battle with your Russian weeb powers and the force of this music. Honestly, I'd fall this music to hell and back
Even Texas ain't big enough to hold this much awesome.
Timothy Issler yes we are :)
Chuck Norris can hold it alone
That’s where you’re wrong, bucko. Down here in Texas is the only place big enough to withstand this much awesomeness.
@@ColGregoryHUN I don't deny that, it's Chuck Norris
@@SolBadguyGuiltyGearMan You can withstand it, yes. But can you hold it?
No.
Why?
Because it's meant to be heard worldwide! Nobody should hold it!
just listened to this 4 times in a row. I suppose I should check to see what else UA-cam has to offer this evening. Or I could listen to this a 5th time...
Dude, this song is good, but "Kalevala" from "Northern Steel" is way greater! I've listened it for at least 30 times :)
yeah I've been listening to Kalevala for the past couple of months :) Whenever I get stuck in writer's block, I put on either that or Lords of Iron and just let my mind drift along with the music and it usually gets the ideas going again.
That's EXACTLY what I'm doing right now. Staving off Writer's Block and enjoying every second of it.
listen to it as many times as your comment has likes!!!!
yep, and one more time for me
Never thought western could blend with metal so perfectly!
Lots of metal in both
Honestly, it's a combination I've been looking for for years, because to me it's a no-brainer that it would meld amazingly. It's just that not many do it. I'd recommend the band Ghoultown if you like this.
honestly metal blends with damn near anything, and the result is generally awesome
Metal blends with everything! That has been proven times and times again.
To Hell and Back proved that much to me
God I love the metal music genre. There’s just so many unique and awesome sounding sub-genres that no matter how many pieces you listen do very few sound alike
Dear Disney: Hire this guy.
That'd be a waste of his talents
Perfect music to go along with Red Dead Redemption 2!
Was thinking the exact same thing mate
maibe whit every wild west game who had guns
Hell yeah
I'm blasting it while having a Bang! Party
Literally exactly what my friend and I are doing rn
For a while, I was working on a pirate story, and you had started uploading pirate themed music. Then, I turned my attention to a western themed story yesterday, and I see this in my notifications?!
This is absolutely amazing!!!
He is spying on you
@@twerkinthanos2792 🤨
This music almost sounds pirate themed. Are those styles related somehow?
I feel like the name "Wild Iron" adds at least 40% more enjoyment than what we'd already get from this amazing piece.
3:27 is BY FAR the best part for me. That harmonica hits so good 😂
Sooooo good! When the whistling started, it made me think of Ennio Morricone's scores in the spaghetti western movies.
This performance is simply breathtaking! It's incredible how the artist's passion and talent shine through, allowing us to connect with their emotions and feel the music on a profound level.
0:46 That banjo part
Yessssssssssssssss
Hell yeah brother.
Googled wild west metal. Not disappointed.
Потрясающая музыка! Получил огромное удовольствие. Спасибо!
When the natives invent machine guns and tanks over a century early:
Turtlee when the natives see the Gatling gun come over the hill.
"Stop me if you've heard this one: a ninja assassin, an outlaw cowboy, a runaway princess and a disgraced swordswoman walk into a bar ..."
I've been searching for a good theme for my character and this is literally perfection!
This is the most badass thing I've heard today, and I've been listening to pretty much nonstop metal.
i keep listening to this guys music, and being like "yep, into the D&D playlist with you"
Careful now. This iron is still molten METAL.
LOVE THE WHISTLING what a clever additional to this Western song. Brilliant!
as usual, great music was created by a great composer ... quality music for quality ears ... warm greetings from the REPUBLIC of INDONESIA ...
Warm responses from Texas.
Warm wishes to both of you from Illinois. I hope 5 years out you're both happy and healthy.
It's past me how he's not composing movie scores.
His songs sound more like the stuff you'll hear in videogames.
@Dominic Mendonsa Give Antti time. 2SFH did their first movie soundtrack like a template, and exploded from there. This stuff's a bit too good to waste, anyway. Even a Hollywood producer should know a heart starter when it hears one.
If I remember correctly, Antti said somewhere that he’s not interested in doing movie scores.
Too distracting because its awesome
He's gonna. Soon.
This is one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard! Simply amazing and beautiful, I'm in love! Semper Fidelis!
Thank you for your military service
Only 100K subscribers! Yet you deserve so so much more!
Your music always gets me pumped. That’s for sure.
6 months later, it's close to 130k. I've followed him for years, seen him rise from a few thousand subs to this. I trust his fame will continue to rise at an increasing pace, as long as he keeps making us awesome music.
I'm using this as a boss battle theme in D&D very soon. Mark my words.
If Tom Sawyer created a band with Huck Finn and the other guys! Keep it up, we love you! Respect from France :*
Just love the whistling in 2:40 reminds if the years I spent in New Mexico
man that gun shot at the end is such a great way to end this epic roller coaster through the wild west!
*Wild West action scenes playing vigorously in mind*
If Ennio Morriccone was in a power metal band ;)
What you mean he isn't? You just heard him play. Better take it back, or you might meet him in the town square at high noon...
then he would be Genio Morriccone.
If Clint Eastwood was in a power metal band
So much Fairy tail ost present in this music! *Lovely*
It really does feel like you’re watching an episode of Fairy Tail 👆🏼
Sounds like Irish music with metal or shall I say, Celtic metal. Love it!!🤘🤘🤘
Amazing song, this tune raised my mood so much👌🏽❤️✨🤘🏽🎸🎧
Awesome blend of musical styles! I got here from watching "Ghoultown "Drink With The Living Dead"" and now I'm hooked on this particular type of genre fusion XD.
This is the perfect music for an on train battle scene!
I can't stop listening to this! Help!!
i didn't even know i was missing something from my life until today
Oh man, this is what I want more of right here. It's too hard to find western music that hits this type of style.
5 minutes of my life well spent! Amazing work Antti Martikainen
Alll Hail ANTTI MARTIKAINEN!!!! King of Orchestral Metal!!!!
Hail.
what I love is you can put any genre of music in youtube with metal after it and you find stuff like this👍
I love the flag billowing in the wind
4:00
I hate this moment. Sounds just like my doorbell and every time I get scared! Especially at midnight!
LOL
No you're incorrect
@@mrcup6713 Did you hear my doorbell? Sound in the left ear, quiet enough, but you can hear it in headphones.
This is not only a Western song but is also a song for high sea adventures
This is so good that The Man With No Name's mule would like it even if there were people laughing.
I just stumbled in here, thank you algorithm. I like it! I think I’ll stay 😉
The first time I got to know you was form Hymn of the High Sea, which attracted my brain. After that, I decided to go through the whole album. Damn, all are masterpieces!! Especially Oath to the Abyss and Wild Iron, which are always played everyday!!
why must epic western music be so hard to come by at times. great song btw
kind of sounds like Fairy Tail
Never fucking say that.
@@Avarice297 you treating that like it's a bad thing, thier soundtrack slaps dawg.
@@TerraTuso Fairy Tail soundtrack is incredible and this does sound similar, some people just love to hate apparently
Outlaws, John Marston, and all of y'all! Whatever comes tonight over the Grizzlies, we will face it with an iron will! We will make it over the Grizzlies, and descend as the most badass gang in the Wild West! OUTLAWS FOR LIFE!
Great! This would make a perfect theme for the Western/fantasy novel my cyberbuddy and I are working on. Please, some more Western folk metal from you!
Where is the novel??
@@mattr.1887 On my flash-drive, in development.
It's amazing! Great job, Antti!
Gotta love every composition he makes
0:31 The best part of the song
This with "old west conquest" are simply 👌
Good as an old western music!
4:18 At this point, I thought I was listening to some Fairy Tail.
True
Yeeeees, fairy tail anime ❤️🌷
Yess 👆🏼
The melody reminds me so much of Ninjago's theme... Strange in an absolutely brilliant way.
This is fucking AMMMAAAZZZAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Also, anyone else getting a sort of Fairytail vibe from this?
I am! 👆🏼
Seriously, thank you for this. I’ve been writing/drawing a space opera webcomic, and was stuck for days. I found this, and cranked out 6 hours worth of storyboard, because it fit so damn well. Y’all are my heroes!
How would one eventually find this space opera webcomic if you're still making it?
100K. Antti is growing stronger.
Blasting these tracks while running auto loaders in wirld of tanks blitz zooming around and unloading as if they were revolvers have given me some of the best moments playing and some of the more frantic ones as i drove avoinding shots like crazy
1:15 to 1:45 = BEST PART . This music reminds me texas, new Mexico and Mexico
I can't believe how diverse your videos are. Brilliant
This song makes me want to play cards and call someone a liar before the revolvers start going off
You can't fool me. This is just the Fairy Tail soundtrack
The USA’s response to folk/Celtic metal. So awesome.
fairy tail is here?? xD
good music ty for make this bso
Same thoughts when first hearing this, doesn't mean its bad, on the contrary.
"Fairy Tail Salute"
👆
LOL I too thought this music was anime style :D
Yeah Fairy Tail
right!!!!
Pirates are the cowboys of the sea
HOLY SHIT Awesome work!! \m/
The day has finally come! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This is my new official "Deadlands" character theme song.
Badass.
Long time ago a great fight begin between a Nix (Pirate Part) , a Cowboy (Western Part) and a Lava Golem (Metal Part) versus Dark Knight .
Just imagining the fight with this music , its cool mix .
edited the names
Curiosity brought me here, but very well done. Didn't think this would mix as well as you made it.
I love music and in my opinion this is real music. I would like to thank you for all your work, for all that you have given us so far and for the non stop joy that your music offers.
Yours truly
This is absolutely brilliant.
You know... alot of people seem to compare his music to Fairy Tail...and I can kinda see -er hear that...
I absolutely LOVE THIS SONG!!!!
hello annti martikainen your music is amazing!!! Can you make an entire Cowboy metal album please!!!???
This song just got added to my riding playlist
This should definitely be played when Steel Ball Run gets animated
i am in love with the animation 😍 congrat for the 100K , one day I will also reach this goal 😉
Just subbed because I believe in you
Amazing, I can't get enough of it!
Yeeee hawwww it's high noon folk.!! *blasting pistol*
Yeehaw. Great Track. Very nice use of the Harmonica🤘
Your the most underrated channel on youtube! You deserve at least 1mi sub!!
Congrats on 100k Antti! You deserve it ✌
Today out of nowhere I thought to myself "Surely cowboy metal exists." And boy howdy, I was not disappointed.
Wowww Antti!! What an impressive work, such an original song!
My work grinding anthem
Best song I’ve ever heard
Amazing, awesome, epic, what can I say about this piece, this reminds me the OST of Wild guns.
Every time I hear this it reminds me of the Wild Arms series.
I remeber a ensiferum
Most greatest music , you are the best!
