Producers: Granada Yorkshire, Water Lane Productions, Yorkshire Television (YTV)
All three of these were just brilliant. Made my Friday night!😂
The conversation with Archie🤣🤣🤣absolutely love it. Priceless
Brilliant, all three. Oh for the days when television was worth watching.
Love that SMOKE GETS IN YOUR EYES-for funeral song. lol That and Morris getting high and spilling his mother-in-law makes this the best of the 3 I have seen so far.
@@Noises well watch the fucking thing before reading the comments fuckhead
Loved this series, the third one was the best. Thank you for sharing.
A cute, fun and silly trilogy, and a nice musical score to go with it for the whole thing. Thanks for the upload!
Loved all three films, wonderful, funny and joyous. Thank you again for posting these gems
I keep waiting for Marcus “ Ian Richardson” to conspiratorialy look towards the camera and say “You might think that, I couldn’t possibly comment.”
RIP Ian a great actor who for me will always be Francis Urquhart.
Yay. More videos to satisfy my "British Fever"!!! Keen em comming !!! And THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR POSTING THESE.

So so funny, Brian Murphy just brilliant.
Excellent British film TV orientated.
Brian Murphy goes on for ever
Murphy must be 80+
Anne Reid 70+?
Good performances by Amanda Abbingdon and Karen Henthorn
That was slick playing the theme from Get Carter while on the roof car park .

Great Film. On the signpost there was another village , Garthorpe, where local farmers and others held their Point to Point Races. ( equine ) The roads there are very steep. Keep smoking your pipe. Happy Backy rules . Thanks for showing me some of the familiar places where I was raised 40s to 60s .

Seen them before. Brillant actors and funny. Shame no more made.
It’s 03.33am my husband sleeping and watch this and I have too laugh so quite that I am crying but I wish I could laugh out aloud When Brian stone out of his mind with pot so funny
Tell these bossy mares to go and do one!
Another British film good cast comedy
Thank you very funny.
Was that intended the tune from Get Carter being played on the car park roof .
@Michael Cann Not many people know that . 😊
Interesting comments. In order of quality I’d rank them in the order they were made. Each has its own gems, each has sections where the plot is stretched a little. But they’re all treasures so any imperfections easily overlooked. Episode 3 has a backdrop of pathos, Elsies death, Robs unhappiness, Leones unhappiness, Jackie’s unhappiness, even Dave leaves us with business uncertainty due to his fallout with Marcus. The latter scenes have a latter part of Withnail and I feel about them. In 2 we have the comedy and the joy of the new baby, and in 1 we see the British capacity to laugh at others misfortune. See Rob and Dave in the bar on the return ferry, laughing at Clive’s devastating misfortune. Not sure how that sort of thing plays with Americans who like happy endings!
On the way to Yorkshire ends up in Norfolk on the way past Peterborough, great show though, pity they didn't make more.
😂😂😂😂😂 so funny 😂👌
Interesting comparison between Dave in this series and Dave in The Full Monty.
'nuf sed.
Wotdermatter Dave in the full Monty was played by Mark Addy,,,
Dave in this series is played by Mark Benton,,
Not a bad triology, though why they had Leone's character take back a pathetic, cheating, likely STD-ridden husband is beyond me. Thanks for uploading the three movies, Norah Harley!
😇😇😇
Right? As if any of these good people would have anything to do with a creep like him at all.
@@hensonlaura lol! I had to go back and skim through the movie to remember what my comment was all about!
Fantastic
Suzy Cooper looking so much like Goldie Hawn.
is there a no 4
Sadly, no
Try the hangover
was that paul darrow in the background
Yes to 4, 5 and 6
Tying to find another Neil Pearson show. Sorry, I don't know what it is called. All I remember it is about a group of friends and insurance policies.
@dedfox4 That's it! Thank you
Great comedy very funny
Never be fooled by looks.
LMAO! One minute in Swanley, next looking at fictitious/non-fictitious signposts suggesting the South-West! No 1 was fun.
Wymondham is in Norfolk.
@@resnonverba137 I did enjoy it though. Childishly funny.
@@MartinEnglishCambodia Agreed.
The signposts are actually true. The places named are in Rutland in the East Midlands. I was brought up there in the 1940s 1960s. Great County. Capitol is Oakham. There are 6 counties in the East Midlands, Rutland is the one that has a Duke. The Duke of Rutland residing at Belvoir Castle near Woolsthorpe by Belvoir near Grantham in Lincolnshire. ( where Margaret Thatcher was born and raised.)
aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh, middle class bbc comedy. i pay for this pish!
Yorkshire??? Wymondham is in Norfolk.
It was strange how all the ladies personalities have changed from ep 1 and 2. Cath is a bit old going for a bairbee .
God bless her... lol
Good
@19.30 calls his wife Tracy , thought it was Gracy? Brian Murphy, great actor though .
BOABBISHD BOOZE ! ! !
🤚👍👍🤚👍🤚👍👍🤚
Such a great guy so funny watching brain in one foot in grave great
Is there a 4th episode?
Oh like they would all know the words to the Julie Andrews song FFS
Do married couples have to hold different , conflicting ideas against each other after decades of living together.Would such hostile commemts and deeds make them smarter, or I wonder, are they just too afraid to fight "the main stream"?
Actually a marriage without different opinions is a dead marriage, and they are not 'hostile' to each other, it is actually Very loving. Yes they take the P out of each other, play tricks on each other, but that is because they Can. They have a strong enough relationship to known they can do that and they Do observe boundaries. It is perfectly clear that all 3 couples love each other to bits. Even when Rob comes off the marital rails he realises what he has lost and Leonie loves him enough to give him another chance. Part of what makes the show is the pure love between each set of couples.
@@hogwashmcturnip8930 yes, I would call that hogwash!
Beautiful, slim Leone is married to selfish, mean 50 y/o man who not only cheats on her constantly but is cruel to everyone in their circle. The idea of him climbing back on top of her is repugnant in the extreme! Pigs like that don't learn.
And if there were 20 of these movies (or this suddenly became real) he would be cheating on her, moaning constantly to have his way, hurting neighbors feelings, telling secrets, verbally attacking people - that's who the character IS. And he fully deserves to be rejected by all of them.
In real life he would be. But then we'd have no entertaining movie of people pretending to be so stupid that they don't understand the destructive negative force in their midst.
And since when do people who love each other "take the P" what does that mean? Punish them for being in your life?? Grace was so vindictive to her husband! A passive aggressive, manipulative woman like that makes life hell for any one she chooses.
@@hensonlaura Yes, you are Very Random aren't you?A sad, American minded person, who would not understand Love if cupid fired his entire quiver up your arse. I feel pity for you, I really do, because not only did you not understand a simple English comedy you don't really get Relationships at all. So sad, You must be missing out on so much joy and fulfilment. But more, I feel sorry for any poor bloke that ends up with you. Unless he is as anally retentive as you of course. They you will have many happy years spent making each other's laxatives!
There needs to b more films....and have Martin Clunes back!
you can nearly count the pixels, the quality is so poor
What a superb actor Brian Murphy is.
That he is.
He looks no different to when he was in George & Mildred! Brilliant actor though!
He's great isn't he❤
Brian Murphy stoned, bloody hilarious, really cheered me up after a dreadful week
just discovered this wonderful trilogy, cant believe i missed these first time round, absolute gems!
Try watching northern lights and city lights TV series
and christmas lights to start with
Have watched all 3 films absolutely brilliant.A bit of light relief and thoroughly enjoyed them. It's a pity they can not make shows like this today.
So glad I found these, obviously some years after they were made as I believe Brian Murphy is now well into his 80’s. Terrific television, just what we need these days. Thanks for showing them.
Brilliant acting by all the cast. When t.v. companies made programmes worth watching. Special mention for Brian Murphy being the STAR of the show.
All three have been totally awesome 👏 I wish there was more!!! Brian Murphy on weed cracked me up 🤣
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
When Maurice's mother in law
Has shuffled off this mortal coil
When the Ern spills, the ashes are simply swept back into the Ern with dust and cigarette ash
Yes absolutely hilarious when brian Murphy cracks up as hes the battered cod had me in stitches 😂😂😂
Discovered these by accident, what a lucky find, great humour, 3 great films
Yep i did as well but watched in reverse lol
Yep, me to.
Good TV films
Me too lucky find agree!!!
@@billyballantyne531 In reverse? Is that why they have started running Eastenders backwards? They want to make sure it has a happy ending lol.
What joy, smiling from ear to ear. Thank you so much I enjoyed each of the 3 films 🤩
Same 'ere.... Sorry!
watching morris get high on weed was sp funny,

I haven't laughed so much for a long time !! Wonderful...thank you !! 😁😂🤣
Ones needs a laugh in these times. The weed scene were hilarious.Acting and story line were awesome.Too bad this cast didn't make more movies....Worth The Watch.
Im American, not British! But i love the British tv. I watched all 3 of these movies, love them! Hope they make more!
This little obnoxious black hat, that travels from series to series, seemingly nailed to Rob's head is just priceless.
"Hello Rob, I see you've graduated to cutlery.." Haha
Loved all three. 1 was brilliant. Didn’t stop laughing. 3 excellent and 2 more than watchable.
Everyone needs a friend like Dave
I loved all three, just wish there was 4,5 and 6.
So do I. The ship has sailed long ago now I guess.
I know exactly what you mean William.
Hilarious stuff!!
Probably best to go out on a winning note.
Is it really that difficult to make humour like that anymore ?
Yes yes YES
@@thornyrose4709 they could have made a mini series from this.
Doris, I mean Morris is my favorite character! Oh just one more!!!!!
Worth watch again and again.
Thanks for the UpL!
Another Great episode. Brian Murphy high as a kite in the pub was hugely entertaining!!!!
Absolutely wonderful, all three films. Thank you!
What a great bunch of actors.......so much better than anything I’ve seen come out of Hollywood in a good few years !
Excuse me... Er... what is the significance of "Hollywood"? Is it a place?
brilliant tv movies. all three of them. loved the music too.
+splashdowner20 Music is by Jim Parker, he's done some great stuff, youtube him.
What a discovery found this by chance
Fantastic humour and there should be far more than just the three , I could watch it over and over and have spent many a happy hour sharing it with my friends
Mark Benton is an excellent actor
Ian Richardson was House of Cards long before Kevin Spacey came along. He is a consummate actor.
great acting and very enjoyable fun
A quirky entertaining trilogy, enjoyed all three. Thanks for uploading.
Hysterically funny and so well done😂😂😂😂💕💕 Wish there were more too of their escapades ! Good writing and good casting 👍👍
