What a great film. Nothing over blown, no special effects,no big bucks stars, and yet it kept me entertained for an hour and a half. What more could you want. Took me a while to work out where I'd seen her before but Clair Skinner plays the wife/mother in Outnumbered.
+Mysterious Squirrel Also in Trevor's World of Sport, where she was Neal Pearson's twit of a wife. She was also a serial killer, or at least a murderer, in (I think) Inspector Lewis. An exceptionally pretty woman who likes to play more than pretty characters.
The thing is with the invention of the smartphone , you can now go to booze cruise "cast and find out exactly who they are , through the power of the internet and click onto Wikipedia for the individual characters 🏴
I worked inside the homes of what they call aspirational working class & lower middle class folk in southern England for 40 years & can say with confidence that this movie is pretty accurate & they only manage having fun when getting pissed or by mistake but somewhere beneath the shiny surface they’re actually ok - it’s just how the stiff upper lip / keeping up appearances thing is still very important . 👍
Loved this. Plus nostalgia. From 1969 til 1987 , my family, plus our friends, used to get the Dover to Calais ferry every summer to drive to Spain, and once, just France. We always had "interesting" time too. Evokes happy memories. Thank you for uploading.
I came across these last night and really enjoyed the two I watched. Then this one came up as well. I think the third one was the funniest but they all made me smile. Nice one for putting them up whoever you are.
ONE OF THE BEST ITV COMEDY SKETCH T V SHOWS I HAVE SEEN A GROUP OF MEN WHO GO ON A JOLLY TO CALAIS WHO LIBE ON THE SAME ESTATES WHO HAVE A DAY OUT AND HATE EACH OTHERS CUTS SO SO HILARIOUS
What a find on UA-cam! To see this billiant little number again is a very happy surprise:) Laughing out loud, sitting here on my own during our strict Spanish 'cuarentena'. Thanks Norah Harley for the upload. Will be watching the other two in the trilogy too.
'A bottle of Sherry & Fruit n Nut? You coud've got that in ASDA' ..Oh my god, that cracked me up! Brilliant programme, love Martin Clunes & Ben Whishaw especially.
Absolutely Bloody Fantastic. Rob hilarious , Maurice with a MK. 2 Bren . A very good Machine Gun. And Chloe caught bonking the photographer. Music Great. Well done Grace, 'TIMBER'.
Going to watch this tomorrow morning as we are going to close up in about 45 mins. Looking at the cast I think it is going to be hugely enjoyable. Cannot beat the English for a film about a no doubt legendary Booze up cruise.
Actually brilliant, enjoyed the film allot, will watch the other two. Thanks for loading. As we pain in the butt Yankees say about British humor...'you either get it or you don't'. Great cast, nicely done.
@@hensonlaura Hey, no just a pun on myself and my British friends, like eating with a fork with your right hand or iced tea. :-) going to a Pub or café with friends, usually near Sandwich, which we/family came from in 1935 on the HMS Hercules. Love ordering ice for my tea. Take my knife in my right hand, fork in left, cut, then put down my knife and eat with my right hand and fork. Friends love it as a few to maybe 3 dozen local Brits watch me and my lady eat every bite. hahhahha Then there is breakfast, we order a smoothie or glass of milk for our protein powder and supplement pills. Friends usually all have a solid English breakfast. Fun stuff and friends. Be well.
I really didnt like the third one.. it had lost the ooomph. Also i think they should have made them all as booze cruises back to france but with the wives !! maybe end up staying there a week looking for Daniel!
I love all the characters in this. Ben Wishaw did a cracking John Keats in Bright Star. He looks really gorgeous in that but in this.. hmm no. Ha. Fabulous actor though. Im surprised Anne reid didnt have the affair, she normally does 😂😂😂
another quiet but brilliant gem from the British film industry...................no one does comedy in quite the understated way as the British, it's true to life and what we can all relate to in real life.
I wonder how many people that didn't like this film are under 35? Back in the good old days, before people left independent thought in the birth canal, you had to work out the humour in a film. We didn't need the jokes or the humour to hit us in the face with a wet trout or they'd just pass us by. To us, obvious humour designed for the stupid is boring. We even had adverts where the brand being advertised wasn't even mentioned, imagine that, we had to work it out!!!
Now 🤠that was certainly a treat that I definitely enjoyed LOL 🤣oh yes! my gosh it was a trip and a half. All perfect separate stories on the husbands and stories on the wives then the newlyweds, 🤪it all fell into perfect pieces, along with the awesome acting ha ha ha ha ha ha must watch again and I will definitely share ✌🏼 thumbs up for the upload thanks to Norah. 👍🏼👍🏼💐

Literally the best thing I've watched in ages, especially the ending, I loved how the guy that was going to give the wedding was received back home, first by his wife and then how he greeted his daughter. I'm telling you this was an awesome movie!
@@jamiew1510 Now this is weird, I don't remember watching this, and I sure didn't write that comment; so how could someone hijack my acc, especially as the account is wrong also? But this gives me something to keep an eye on in the future. Have a great day.
Brilliantly done!!! - Laughed close to stomach-cramps!!! - And that _beautiful_ ''French'' girl 'Juliette though, I _totally_ got Daniel! . . . . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Eric Kamov - Are you serious?? Which bit did you laugh at? I have lasted 39 minutes and I can't take anymore of it. It is about as funny as getting kicked full on in the bollocks and then poked in the eye. I don't believe you laughed at any of this!
Tremendous ... proper blokes doing their thing. I remember a business trip to France years ago with my boss where we drove over with a car full of technical equipment to use to train the French distributor. I presumed we'd bring it back with us but boss dumped it with the distributor and told them to ship it back to Cambridge so we could see how much booze we could cram into the car on the way back when it was empty. Them were the days.

Excellent story, very good chemistry between the actors, appropriate music. Comedy and drama in good measure. I loved it.
How could anybody not like these movies, good clean and bloody funny !
Extremely funny through and through! There's no incident or scene throughout the movie that doesn't draw tears as you laugh yourself to stitches!
Good old British comedy really enjoyable

Love the fact that Maurice doesn't see any problem with bringing a mk2 bren gun through customs and waving it about for all to see!
Bloody Good old British Comedy Brian Murphy as Maurice superb. Music fantastic. Thanks a million.
