The bug might be because of how movement is calculated between the target you click and your champion. The two dash inputs you do might be added in such a way that the game thinks you are in range of an attack on an enemy. Which does make me wonder if you can recreate this on other champs or if its because bloodhound is whack like that.
could you explain a little better how to recreate this bug? I tried auto-E-rocketbelt and E-auto-rocketbelt and couldnt get the bug to happen after many attempts

Try q or e, then auto and then rocket
Its a really specific timing
