This would be my dream steam VR streaming laptop. But I would never ever be able to afford it. But is a pretty machine. Hope the ones that get it may have alot of fun with it
Was looking at getting into the Gaming Laptop market back in 2017 when I was a poor College student. I bought the then 1.5k Legion Y720 having never heard of Lenovo in the gaming sector before, so i took a gamble. I had such a great experience with them, that two years ago, having a full out fleshed out career, i dished out about 5k into their flagship model and i am again BLOWN away with them and hiw far they've come. I will continue to support them. I fit the demographic for these laptops and i have no problem with them going overboard with the features. Shit looks insane lol
Im surprised that these powerful gpu laptops hasn't adopted to DP port yet. Or get rid of the USB-A port and give it more C ports with DP power output capabilities.
I have this laptop I will tell you it's one of the fastest laptops you can buy. 1920x1200 high settings no fps cap 240fps in MW3 that's with no DLSS and no resolution scaling just pure no bs fps. Thing is fast my boys.
Most Legion laptop are very much upgradeable. I got 2022 legion pro 5 which came with 16gb ram. I was able to upgrade it 32gb ram as both slots are removable. Most Legion have a secondary storage drive. I put a Samsung 980 2tb into secondary slot for my media. You can also access the wifi card, so if you want swap wifi 6 for a next one you can.
I'm getting one of the two. The pro 7i seems like better value but I don't like its bulkier look and plastic parts in a top laptop. I know the liquid cooling doesn't have a drastic difference but even a slightly cooler experience is preferable for me. It's a hard choice. I'm considering the 4090 versions because I need the 16gb of vram for better ai performance.
I owned that laptop, the 2021 version, before I bought the Legion 7 2021. The Scar was nothing but headaches for me. Sent it back within a month. How is yours going up? Does yours overheat and try to burn your house down too?
@@SeemsLogical I am now using my second replacement brother. Before I suffered coil whines, the paint is removing from the laptop lid and the screen have 7 bleeds. I bring my first scar to the service center here. But they suck in checking and blaming it is my own damn fault. So what I did i sent an Email to Asus HQ and they contacted Asus Dubai which is near to me because I am in Kuwait. They replaced my laptop with a new one. Now I do not have any complaints. The temps are 60c while gaming cyberpunk 2077 phantom liberty latest patch raytracing ultra and psycho. The maximum temps I have are around 65-70c while doing benchmarks and 3D renderings with a large landscapes and area with full vegetations, buildings, people and animations. Screen bleeding are gone and the only minor issue is the weight and sizes. I slide it with my northface large backpack because the included bag is tight and can damage the exterior. So far all goods brother. Sick laptop and sick price 😅
The Lenovo legion 9i this and that and bla bla bla man Even if I sell BOTH of my kidneys I won’t be able to afford it I can literally buy a car or a bike or both with the price of that pc
I wonder if there will ever be more mainstream oled gaming laptops in the future
There are now
Soo much gaming! 😅

Best thing about gaming laptops: can be used as workstation
Its hard to call it watercooling... there is no radiator to cool liquid so... Yeah. I preffer my DIY watercooler for laptops :)
2 x Thunderbolt 4 on the backside.

There’s 2 RAM slots and 2 SSD slots for m.2 2280 SSDs
Legion Pro 7i with RTX 4080 is still so much better value ❤

Bro uses a gaming laptop for editing
A lot of people do. What the hell is your point? They’re also good for programming and other tasks. You’re clearly lacking in life experience.
@@KriticullCTRL I’m joking lol
@dupont24x I too use it for programming, so many people think these high end laptops are only good for gaming but there is so much more you can do
