Hi, just wanted to say regarding instant gaming: I followed your link and trusted your judgement on them, so checked them out and bought a game there (the sims 3). Purchased it, got the code, no problem. Then I tried to get the game to work, no matter what I did I could not access the game, found out that it was the 32-bit version, not the 64-bit version (wich is what you need for most computers nowadays). Wrote to customer support about it, And they response was pretty much "yeah we're aware, but you used the code so we can't help you" which I would say is scamy, they are purposefully selling you a version of a game that you can't use, and not disclosing it, and then since you've used the code they ofc can't reimburse you. It was only 2.25€ so I'm not mad about "money lost" It's just dicky of them to sell something most people can't use, and not disclosing it anywhere.

people who have crap PC's/laptops won't be able to play Inzoi, which is unfortunate. Part of the reason why Sims sucks so bad is that they're catering to the people with junk PC's/laptops.
@@jupiterthree5228If InZOI is thinking properly, they should be making a console version in conjunction to PC. A lot of us do not want to worry about specs or upgrading, which is a huge benefit of a PS5, I know if it’s out for the PS5, then it’s playable lol
i feel like the term gta has lost its meaning, pretty sure if it was gta then running over zois and having tanks chase someone is normal but inzoi is a life sim
@@augusto7681 As an Asian, yes. The skin tones in Sims are especially tricky, and no matter how much you tweak the facial features, the characters still end up looking like they have white ethnicity. Plus, asia is super diverse - Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Filipinos, Indians etc., all have distinct looks. Inzoi definitely leans towards a Korean vibe, so I can see how Westerners (esp female characters) and some other Asians might struggle to create their look without it turning out Korean. I really hope developers can be more diverse in the future, but maybe this is a starting point.
@@lance9249i dunno, I've seen players with zois that don't look Korean at all. Men mainly but women too. And maybe cc later on will give us better results to get strongly different ethnicities.
@@augusto7681 Yes, Sims look so western to me, no matter how I change it, I can't make it look any type of asians, not only east asians but any other (well i'm not skilled too). I think it's because of the art style too. Personally I like Final Fantasy and anime-ish art style

@@kiddiestrangler the base game itself won’t be that expensive it’s when you add it with the other features that they’ll add on it and have you pay for that it gets pricy. I’d say base game goes 40-60 dollars max. I feel like “pack” features in ea are going to be base game so compared to ea you’re paying less in the long run (base game optimization wise) For anyone that needs to hear this packs should always be optional! And usually always are like skins in Fortnite. You don’t have to buy them but you want the extra content cause it’s just cool
Let's not forget that Inzoi has a cartoon filter that changes the whole look of the game which is also cool. I was watching another youtuber's video where she took a picture of her fan in real life and uploaded the pic to Inzoi. Inzoi created a full 3d image of the fan and she was able to place it in her in-game house. It was crazy.
I was just thinking that if it found a way to let players choose realism or cartoony styles it could definitely beat the sims. The loyal sims players wot budge but i sure will once things settle in.

They had more than a decade to come up with Sims 5, to this day not a single announcement nor hint that they have plans to make one. With Cities Skylines and inZoi Maxis is basically obsolete.
They deserve it. They got greedy and made muddy like graphics. The only game where the PC look realistic looking are the sims 1 and even that game it was very 2d and almost pixel like.
For build mode I've seen there are pre-sets, so you can place an already ready and furnished house if you want. P.S. You can change the name of the channel into SatchonLifeSims)
there's some crazy tech in this game. I was watching a playthrough where the content creator made a "3d" print out of a 2d picture. it's so crazy! I am so excited for the build mode even though I'm not a builder in the sims.
Idk if this is helpful for anyone who is concerned about performance issues, but I run games like cities skylines 2, planet zoo and the Sims 4 with almost all of the packs/DLC on my MacBook Pro using Shadow PC. It’s basically a cloud streaming service and have been using it for over a year now, highly recommend it. You do need a decent internet connection for it to work properly and it costs about $50/month, but it’s definitely a cheaper option than buying a whole new PC/gaming setup if you can’t afford it outright. Also a great option for playing games that aren’t normally available to download and play on Mac.
Well ive heard it runs better than sims 4..so it can probably run on your computer if you can run sims 4 to begin with. And ive heard you can set the graphics to a cartoonish style which would also make it easier to play
@MissSchnickfitzel A lot of the people who have had the chance to play most likely already have gaming PC's that meet Inzoi's specs. I tried the Inzoi Creator demo last night, and even with that, the graphics seemed compromised for me. Plus, it took a long time to download to my PC. I think 32G just to run the demo.
I so badly want this game to do amazing and run amazing because this is my dream life simulator game! Realistic graphics with GTA features and sims gameplay is everything I’ve ever wanted for the entirety of my gaming life 😭
Yeah, but if you play the game like GTA, your zois will lose a lot of karma points, but then again, people do the same thing in real life, so it's bound to happen, there's bound to be a bunch of chaos gods that will make their zois run over other zois, hmmm that makes me wonder if you can make a zoi drive off with another zoi's car, after all city safety is a setting in the game, I wonder if making your zoi be a criminal lowers the city's safety slider setting, or the slider might limit the harm your zoi can do.

When I first saw screenshots & video footage I was sceptical. It could've been a scam and just rendered animations to sell the look, but the final game would look nothing like it. But with people playtesting in in early access/demo variations it look very good right now! Can't wait for the final release version.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the game from a monetary perspective. Recently I watched a video that pointed out that the studio behind Inzoi is very exploitative in the way they do the microtransactions for all their other games...and they have to know the Sims Fandom loves to be victims of exploitation. I wonder how that will translate into Inzoi, and if it'll be worse that the Sims 4 on that front?
They will sell shirts, pants, shoes individually like how they did it in PUBG. Those things may have a little sense in a war game, but they sure as heck matter 101% in a sims game.
Yeah I don't know why people are glossing over this. I can see them going for a subscription model to play the game or throwing out weekly gacha items.
2:29 This is really nice. The one thing I had a huge problem with in S4 is that they didn't have corresponding lengths with a specific hair style. When I make a sim, I tend to gravitate and stick with a hair style, but I also like to have hair growth. This is very difficult in any sims game.
I'm sure cc creators will probably come up with a way to make the zoi's look less real , I'm excited that they've made it moddable , really excited to see what cc and mod creators come up with.
@@aespa2447 They're so accustomed to the cartoonish style of the Sims that the idea of a life simulation game featuring more realistic characters and graphics, like those in major AAA titles, is just beyond them, haha. It's clear they don't really play anything other than the Sims.
Why tho, I let my games look the way they look. Like putting a filter on InZoi makes it look ugly, just like if you put a filter on Paralives to make it look like InZoi it would look equally ugly. People mod Sims into different looks because it was for awhile the only thing decent in the genra, yes even with ALL the flaws it was the best you could get for what it offered as a life sim. In 2025 you will hopefully be able to just buy InZoi or buy Paralives or if you want, keep buying Sims stuff. Without having to stranglehold it into a look that's not natural to its art style. The reason I don't mind "cartoony" or stylized graphics is it is easier to have distance when the people burning to death don't look like 'real' people. But honestly I'll play anything I think I might find fun. Go Go Town and Minami Lane are my favorite chill out games and most of my Nintendo favorites are not in a realism style. I also just downloaded echos of plum grove which has a paper Mario style. It has whole towns dying from the plague. But they are just little paper Mario characters I am not seeing realistic characters foaming at the mouth or something. I prefer that tbh. So I hate this whole "people who don't want realistic graphics don't play other games" or "aren't real gamers" mentality.
honestly i dont consider inzoi competition to the sims, solely because of user accessibility. these graphics are EXTREMELY high quality, and most sims players are casual life simmers who arent willing to spend so much money on a high quality gaming computer/laptop for ONE game.
yeah its not accessible to every simmer ever but it is still a life sim game so it is objectively competition for the sims 4. i think my laptop would literally catch fire if i tried to run this game but the fact that it exists means the sims doesn't have a monopoly on life sims anymore
Am I the only one who isn't a huge fan of the hyperrealistic visuals? I appreciate the cartoon-ish feel of the Sims, but overall the gameplay and worlds in this is really exciting!!

I feel like the Sims has brainwashed us into expecting lower graphics and cartoony childish gameplay. This isn’t a dig at anyone who enjoys that I enjoy it very much but I feel like some of the criticisms that inzoi gets are not even criticisms, just things that should be standard in the life Sim genre right now if it wasn’t for EA games. They do have a cartoon filter so at least you can make it look less realistic if you want, as for fantasy, many people are wishing for a fantasy DLC, so who knows if they'll do that since they have proven to really listen to feedback!

Okay, this might sound weird, but by the first looks at InZoi...it looks very korean. I don't know how to explain it, but all the game ( not only the CAS or however it's called) has that vibe.
Not gonna lie, I'm surprised they added a South East Asian inspired world, considering their uh... views on SEA people. This is a pleasant surprise don't get me wrong though, so I'm happy nonetheless. Already added the game to my wishlist on Steam just because of that character creator.
sims started as a building stim so I think it's gonna have the upper hand on that for a bit, but live mode may be better in this. I prefer more dead cafés etc than have Zois do yoga in the middle of the line for coffee
FYI, there is an option for cartoony graphics for people who prefer Maxis Match. I don't see a lot of youtubers reviewing this game mention that. Regardless, I think the high specs will prevent most simmers from converting. IMHO, I am excited for the game, but I'm curious about how successful it might be.
For me, InZOI is way harder to access with its system requirements and Sims still will have a chance in that category. Krafton literally forces you to buy a new PC. Also, two other life-sims are coming next year, which are not that shockingly realistic and are different from the Sims and InZOI in a few aspects, making them good contenders.
I hope INZO has Occult sims! Or else not interested tbh 😂😂 If Sims 4 didn’t trash their reputation I would say they had nothing to worry about with INZO coming out because they are such a big name brand. But they dragged their name thru the dirt with all of Sims 4 crap… shame…
Unfortunately, they do have nothing to worry about. Most people are Sims fans, not life sim fans. Only the "actively online and interactive" part of their playerbase knows inZOI or is interested. Another huge demographic split exists that a lot of people don't like realistic character creators when it comes to casual gaming (which is what most Sims players do). It makes games heavier to run, take more storage space, and overall make them more something to "Commit" to.
Hmm, it seems to follow IRL 2.1 quite a bit, so are there occult types in real life? yeah basically, so there will probably be some occult aspects, or it will be something added in later, there are conversations where your zoi can say someone's controlling the weather, so that's like having a knowledge of something greater than their world, maybe it's something in their personal aspirations
I'll definitely try InZoi, CAZ and all the graphics look so good! But it's giving me a “too serious” vibe, in Sims there's all that silliness with aliens, llamas, occults, cowplants etc, it's a game that makes me laugh. In Sims I like to play with several sims, different families, make them interact with each other, make my own stories, worlds, cities and neighborhoods with different rules and approaches for each one. When I think about playing InZoi, I can only imagine creating just a single zoi, walking around town, talking to NPCs, and looking for things to do, like side quests in fantasy RPG games or RDR2. Or even like a Detroit Become Human with a open world. I don't know how to explain it properly 😅 It's as if Sims and InZoi were in different categories, even though they are both life simulators.
This level of game customization and graphics looks like it would require a NASA super computer to run smoothly. I don’t think my current one could handle it and for sure not with sims still downloaded on it taking up so much storage space already. It looks amazing. It makes me hopefully for the future of simulation games at least but not something getting into anytime soon. It also seems very realistic in the ways that it doesn’t have some of the silly whimsy sims has that I personally enjoy. I haven’t seen a lot about it that has its own fun personality in game play but I can see how that some people might like that even more.
People are saying that it might have micro transactions...but im thinking what about the legality of that? They cant just give all youtubers early access without any sign of micro transactions just to then, last minute, add micro transactions. Like maybe its just wishful thinking, but i think that would be crazy. And im sure they know no one would buy it then and they would get massive hate?
The build mode has in-depth options yes but objects can definitely be used as is, quick and simple, just like CAS/CAZ. There's even pre built houses and rooms. From what I've seen from other creators' content, the city seems super lively with plenty of Zois, it looks so cool! Apparently, there are like a thousand assets in the city, comprising several hundreds of Zois as well as cars, and it can be tweaked in the settings. Writing ''Zois'' feels weird
I’m think that because its so damn realistic that vampires, werewolves, fairies, elves and other super natural wil never happen with this. And that would be very sad because that is what i like about a simulator i can be something els then a boring human.

I'm very excited for Inzoi especially for people who have been wanting a more realistic sims game and alpha cc users. A lot of people tell those people, "don't even play at that point." Because to them they're changing everything about the game but it's also like well what games are they supposed to play. Now they have one that's coming out and matches their ideal aesthetic and single player life sim vibe. Really great for them.

If it does come out it will have a pretty high barrier of entry in terms of specs needed to run it without a doubt, which for a life sim, will probably come with issues. I don’t think the majority of the life sim demographic have top of the line PCs to run things like this. Not to mention the amount of people who will be delulu enough to be thinking/wanting a switch port or some shi 😂

Idk if this is helpful for anyone who is concerned about performance issues, but I run games like cities skylines 2, planet zoo and the Sims 4 with almost all of the packs/DLC on my MacBook Pro using Shadow PC. It’s basically a cloud streaming service and have been using it for over a year now, highly recommend it. You do need a decent internet connection for it to work properly and it costs about $50/month, but it’s definitely a cheaper option than buying a whole new PC/gaming setup if you can’t afford it outright. Also a great option for playing games that aren’t normally available to download and play on Mac.
Well ive heard it runs better than sims 4..so it can probably run on your computer if you can run sims 4 to begin with. And ive heard you can set the graphics to a cartoonish style which would also make it easier to play
@MissSchnickfitzel A lot of the people who have had the chance to play most likely already have gaming PC's that meet Inzoi's specs. I tried the Inzoi Creator demo last night, and even with that, the graphics seemed compromised for me. Plus, it took a long time to download to my PC. I think 32G just to run the demo.

Yeah, but if you play the game like GTA, your zois will lose a lot of karma points, but then again, people do the same thing in real life, so it's bound to happen, there's bound to be a bunch of chaos gods that will make their zois run over other zois, hmmm that makes me wonder if you can make a zoi drive off with another zoi's car, after all city safety is a setting in the game, I wonder if making your zoi be a criminal lowers the city's safety slider setting, or the slider might limit the harm your zoi can do.

When I first saw screenshots & video footage I was sceptical. It could've been a scam and just rendered animations to sell the look, but the final game would look nothing like it. But with people playtesting in in early access/demo variations it look very good right now! Can't wait for the final release version.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the game from a monetary perspective. Recently I watched a video that pointed out that the studio behind Inzoi is very exploitative in the way they do the microtransactions for all their other games...and they have to know the Sims Fandom loves to be victims of exploitation. I wonder how that will translate into Inzoi, and if it'll be worse that the Sims 4 on that front?
They will sell shirts, pants, shoes individually like how they did it in PUBG.
Those things may have a little sense in a war game, but they sure as heck matter 101% in a sims game.

2:29 This is really nice. The one thing I had a huge problem with in S4 is that they didn't have corresponding lengths with a specific hair style. When I make a sim, I tend to gravitate and stick with a hair style, but I also like to have hair growth. This is very difficult in any sims game.
I'm sure cc creators will probably come up with a way to make the zoi's look less real , I'm excited that they've made it moddable , really excited to see what cc and mod creators come up with.

@@aespa2447 They're so accustomed to the cartoonish style of the Sims that the idea of a life simulation game featuring more realistic characters and graphics, like those in major AAA titles, is just beyond them, haha. It's clear they don't really play anything other than the Sims.
Why tho, I let my games look the way they look. Like putting a filter on InZoi makes it look ugly, just like if you put a filter on Paralives to make it look like InZoi it would look equally ugly. People mod Sims into different looks because it was for awhile the only thing decent in the genra, yes even with ALL the flaws it was the best you could get for what it offered as a life sim. In 2025 you will hopefully be able to just buy InZoi or buy Paralives or if you want, keep buying Sims stuff. Without having to stranglehold it into a look that's not natural to its art style.
The reason I don't mind "cartoony" or stylized graphics is it is easier to have distance when the people burning to death don't look like 'real' people. But honestly I'll play anything I think I might find fun. Go Go Town and Minami Lane are my favorite chill out games and most of my Nintendo favorites are not in a realism style. I also just downloaded echos of plum grove which has a paper Mario style. It has whole towns dying from the plague. But they are just little paper Mario characters I am not seeing realistic characters foaming at the mouth or something. I prefer that tbh. So I hate this whole "people who don't want realistic graphics don't play other games" or "aren't real gamers" mentality.

honestly i dont consider inzoi competition to the sims, solely because of user accessibility. these graphics are EXTREMELY high quality, and most sims players are casual life simmers who arent willing to spend so much money on a high quality gaming computer/laptop for ONE game.
yeah its not accessible to every simmer ever but it is still a life sim game so it is objectively competition for the sims 4. i think my laptop would literally catch fire if i tried to run this game but the fact that it exists means the sims doesn't have a monopoly on life sims anymore

There's an option to put a "filter" on the game to make it look a bit more cartoons! And yes you can play with the filter on

The game looks promising, but I would love more variety between worlds. It'd be great to get some suburban towns and rural villages.

I feel like the Sims has brainwashed us into expecting lower graphics and cartoony childish gameplay. This isn’t a dig at anyone who enjoys that I enjoy it very much but I feel like some of the criticisms that inzoi gets are not even criticisms, just things that should be standard in the life Sim genre right now if it wasn’t for EA games. As someone who plays a lot with fantasy, the hyper ralism is not attractive.....but i hope so much that the competition gives EA a butt kick...
They do have a cartoon filter so at least you can make it look less realistic if you want, as for fantasy, many people are wishing for a fantasy DLC, so who knows if they'll do that since they have proven to really listen to feedback!

Not gonna lie, I'm surprised they added a South East Asian inspired world, considering their uh... views on SEA people. This is a pleasant surprise don't get me wrong though, so I'm happy nonetheless. Already added the game to my wishlist on Steam just because of that character creator.

sims started as a building stim so I think it's gonna have the upper hand on that for a bit, but live mode may be better in this. I prefer more dead cafés etc than have Zois do yoga in the middle of the line for coffee
FYI, there is an option for cartoony graphics for people who prefer Maxis Match. I don't see a lot of youtubers reviewing this game mention that. Regardless, I think the high specs will prevent most simmers from converting. IMHO, I am excited for the game, but I'm curious about how successful it might be.
For the character creator, I will not accept anything less than Shanice Shanice. She is legendary and deserves to be your first character.
The thing I’m going to miss is Occult. I don’t think Inzoi is going to have occults.

For me, InZOI is way harder to access with its system requirements and Sims still will have a chance in that category. Krafton literally forces you to buy a new PC. Also, two other life-sims are coming next year, which are not that shockingly realistic and are different from the Sims and InZOI in a few aspects, making them good contenders.

If Sims 4 didn’t trash their reputation I would say they had nothing to worry about with INZO coming out because they are such a big name brand. But they dragged their name thru the dirt with all of Sims 4 crap… shame…
Unfortunately, they do have nothing to worry about. Most people are Sims fans, not life sim fans. Only the "actively online and interactive" part of their playerbase knows inZOI or is interested. Another huge demographic split exists that a lot of people don't like realistic character creators when it comes to casual gaming (which is what most Sims players do). It makes games heavier to run, take more storage space, and overall make them more something to "Commit" to.
Hmm, it seems to follow IRL 2.1 quite a bit, so are there occult types in real life? yeah basically, so there will probably be some occult aspects, or it will be something added in later, there are conversations where your zoi can say someone's controlling the weather, so that's like having a knowledge of something greater than their world, maybe it's something in their personal aspirations
technically though, they don't have sims at all, they have zois, lol hence the CAZ Satch mentioned

I'll definitely try InZoi, CAZ and all the graphics look so good! But it's giving me a “too serious” vibe, in Sims there's all that silliness with aliens, llamas, occults, cowplants etc, it's a game that makes me laugh. In Sims I like to play with several sims, different families, make them interact with each other, make my own stories, worlds, cities and neighborhoods with different rules and approaches for each one. When I think about playing InZoi, I can only imagine creating just a single zoi, walking around town, talking to NPCs, and looking for things to do, like side quests in fantasy RPG games or RDR2. Or even like a Detroit Become Human with a open world. I don't know how to explain it properly 😅 It's as if Sims and InZoi were in different categories, even though they are both life simulators.
I hope EA is shivering after years and years of not caring about their community. Inzoi looks absolutely fantastic!

This level of game customization and graphics looks like it would require a NASA super computer to run smoothly. I don’t think my current one could handle it and for sure not with sims still downloaded on it taking up so much storage space already.
It looks amazing. It makes me hopefully for the future of simulation games at least but not something getting into anytime soon.
It also seems very realistic in the ways that it doesn’t have some of the silly whimsy sims has that I personally enjoy. I haven’t seen a lot about it that has its own fun personality in game play but I can see how that some people might like that even more.

People are saying that it might have micro transactions...but im thinking what about the legality of that? They cant just give all youtubers early access without any sign of micro transactions just to then, last minute, add micro transactions. Like maybe its just wishful thinking, but i think that would be crazy. And im sure they know no one would buy it then and they would get massive hate?
The build mode has in-depth options yes but objects can definitely be used as is, quick and simple, just like CAS/CAZ. There's even pre built houses and rooms. From what I've seen from other creators' content, the city seems super lively with plenty of Zois, it looks so cool! Apparently, there are like a thousand assets in the city, comprising several hundreds of Zois as well as cars, and it can be tweaked in the settings.

I'm very excited for Inzoi especially for people who have been wanting a more realistic sims game and alpha cc users. A lot of people tell those people, "don't even play at that point." Because to them they're changing everything about the game but it's also like well what games are they supposed to play. Now they have one that's coming out and matches their ideal aesthetic and single player life sim vibe. Really great for them.

If it does come out it will have a pretty high barrier of entry in terms of specs needed to run it without a doubt, which for a life sim, will probably come with issues. I don’t think the majority of the life sim demographic have top of the line PCs to run things like this. Not to mention the amount of people who will be delulu enough to be thinking/wanting a switch port or some shi 😂
