Grand tutorial. Learnt a lot, I have one issue tho.
Despite setting up things for landing and it being fine, when I engage approach mode and turn Autopilot 2, the autopilot doesn’t seem to try and land or at least descent.
You might just be too high. Drop by the discord in the description and share a video of your issue, and we can help
@@TiJayFLY Ah okay, I’ll do that tomorrow then, but I’m not sure I was too high. I was roughly 2000ft when I enabled it and was still some distance out.
I am very new to the game, but I’ve followed your tutorial and completed my first fight (manual landing) but I’ll have a look at the discord tomorrow

when I try to turn on the managed altitude mode on it doesn't work, I can't see the little up arrow on the altitude knob
Your flight plan and/or perf isn’t complete
Hi, I was wondering if you had a tutorial to fly a Manual leg, I've got one just before my decel waypoint and I'm not sure about what to do
Put the airplane in selected heading mode - “pull” the heading knob then dial in the heading towards your next waypoint or vectors given by ATC. Once you’re at the next waypoint, “push” the heading knob to re-engage managed mode.
There are other videos on UA-cam about selected heading mode in the a320, and I have a few old videos from x plane where I use it as part of a flight, but I don’t have a specific tutorial.
@@TiJayFLY thanks, I also had another question, when I do a flight, I often arrive at the bottom of descent to late and I'm already over the airport, any tips on how to descend faster or solve that ?
@@JoshuaLescarretSailing this shouldn’t happen with a complete managed flight plan. Unless you miss your TOD and trigger descent too late of course

My A/THR won't activate when I put my Thrust leveler to Man Flex. Only when I put them to TOGA :(
Probably don’t have flex temp configured

@@damianward9695 It was never shipped. Asobo canned it after the Beta due to an unacceptable amount of CTDs. That beta is no longer available, and everyone is still waiting for it to arrive in a sim update. I'll cover it when it's officially released.

Why does he always go to Glasgow *just curious because you also do this route in aerofly fs 4*
Because I know the route is good, so for reviews if something goes wrong I know it’s a problem with the airplane, and for tutorials it means I only have to learn the plane not the route
