Personally in my opinion while it may be tedious to face every regular enemy, guardian and titan in the game let's all be grateful that Boss Rush ends with Supreme. it would be a nightmare if The End was in the lineup of fights to complete.
Not gonna lie as the true final boss of the game i kinda wish the End was in the boss rush.
@@jackattacktron1000 are you a masochist or something? the only purpose to even have The End in boss rush is to get practice in to get used to the sudden change to a bullet hell gameplay style but otherwise the boss rush mode is good enough as it already is.
Good to know. I'm currently struggling with the third island. Definitely very hard with enemies that are time wasting. Love your profile pic, btw.

I blame it it actually needing you to fight literally all enemies not only the titans

It would be one thing if it was just the Titans but the fact that every single enemy encounter is included can make it so tiring since a lot of them have different ways to be defeated that is easier to mess up

Im embarrassed to admit that the first enemies of ares island have screwed me over, max stats, cant cyloop fast enough for s rank

@@yourfathersinferioritycomplex Ares and Ouranos Island were the worst for me. You need to be fast and precise with Shark and Sumo, or else you won't be getting your S rank. It counts for every tower boss on Ouranos too.

Congratulations on unlocking Extreme Mode, SUF! To me, I find it to be the ultimate "Critical Mode" - no Upgrades, a single hit means game over and every enemy can't be taken lightly.

Ouranos Island took me multiple tries to finally fully S rank. But after it was done, I S ranked all stages on the first try.
It doesn't compare to the Cyberspace challenges though. It took me at least twice as long to complete that.
For me, I was choking on the 3rd Island Cyberspace stages. Note to anyone, if you're gonna Homing Cancel, make sure you do it well.
@@Randomguy-ih5sd On world 3 I highly suggest just not homing canceling and just playing the long stages normally. You wont really lose any time
The fact that they put supreme in boss rush even you can fight him again in the main story
difference is play story mode you face Supreme and The End if you’re on hard mode. Boss Rush, It’s just supreme.
Luckily, you only have to S rank all Battle Rush Stages on 1 save slot to unlock Extreme Mode, you can even do it on an Auto Save. So here's how to do it.
- If you want to stay Level 1, that's fine, but you can max out your strength and defense and it will create an Auto Save which you can use for the Battle Rush S ranks.
- When you get to the Ninja Guardians, don't do the double button counter, just keep wailing at them regularly and you can beat them alot quicker.
- Tower, you need to get to it's head so take out it's lower pieces using the two handed X projectiles move to get rid of them and get to it's head.
- Those Turret things in Ares Island, they will stay on the defensive as long as you're too close to them. Luckily you can just bypass their defense by using Cyloop, and then home attack them once and they're down.
- Sumo, once they're stunned from pushing them against the purple areas of the fence just keep doing the Stomping move during the beginning of your short combo, I'd say after a couple blows before you stomp.
- Those Enemies that circle around you and you need to Parry. After you Parry them just home attack them once and they're down.
- The ones that block with nigh invincible alloy shields. Just use Cyloop, and make sure you get as many of them as you can. Use the R2/RT move as a secondary attack. It's the move where Sonic is in the air and he spin kicks projectiles towards his enemies. Same goes for the other small humanoid robots that are invincible to regular attacks, the ones that almost always block with their red force fields.
- Those giant Beetle looking Guardians, the ones that make you collect blue orbs before it's open to attack. Do the stomping move during the beginning of your short combo over and over again and you'll beat them. The same goes for the Tanks, those Giant Grind Rail Bosses in Ares Island, those Giant Battleships in Chaos Island, and those Spiders after you break it's armor.
- When you get to the Master Ninjas, once you use the Parry move, don't use the double button counter because that eats what precious time you have before it goes back on the defensive. Just keep wailing at him after you Parry, I would usually do the two handed X projectiles move on it to eat away chunks of it's health.
- When you get to the Knight, if you're having trouble with his first move just go to a corner and stick to the wall as if you're trying to climb out of the area like you're climbing a mountain in Skyrim. However, make sure it's the wall on the far right, like the bottom right edge of the Boss Fight area because that's the best spot to avoid his spikes before he slams his hand on the ground.
- When you get to the Titans, you can just use the stomp during your combo over and over until they're down. This will help you immensely with the Titans.
Well, at least everyone will get those Titan rematches that they wanted...
Yeah but now we have to go through all of those other challenges just to get to it which is pretty annoying

I didn't even know that was how to beat Supreme. I just went straight for the head like with Giganto.
That tank is going to give me such a headache. I never figured out how to avoid being damaged by him.
The End is still a bullet hell nightmare of a fight.

Do you unlock extreme difficulty if you just get an S rank overall in the all island battle rush? Or do you have to get an S rank in every single encounter? If so, dear god...
Every single encounter cause ur S rank from each encounter adds up until the final titan of each island
Just overall S Rank. NOT every encounter.

You need at least an A to unlock the next island
A to unlock next island, and I think you need an S for all islands (not individual battles) to unlock Extreme difficulty.

S rank for each Island on its own, and S rank for all islands, but you don't need an S rank for every phase.

So what do you unlock after getting S ranks on these and Cyber Space challenges?
You unlock Extreme Mode difficulty for S ranking the entirety of Battle Rush. You unlock the (optional) Power Boost in Cyberspace for S ranking the entirety of the Cyberspace Challenge.

@@Banjoisawesome Just S ranked all of battle rush, wasn't too bad but I really recommend your Sonic is leveled up first as I did it with Sonic Maxed out and some parts were close even with the best stats. We'll see how well the cyberspace challenge goes.

Wait. If this is extreme difficulty how come you can do the super turbo? You can't increase your stats in this difficulty after all. Or do you start with 999 rings instantly in battle rush
You can still grab rings, so you can still use Power Boost. The Rings, however, in this mode, can't protect you now, as one hit from the enemy means instant game over.

Unlocked the Extreme difficulty, which is complete all islands with S Rank. How hard is Extreme difficulty in Campaign mode?

It doesn't, but fights are still pretty challanging thanks to a sneaky little thing they did for Extreme mode.

@@best_mate456 Im on ares island, its not as difficult as it seems because only attacks that immediately hit 1 shot sonic otherwise u get knocked back and can recover just like before
