    What I love about your work is you recommend access panels. I can't stress this enough I see too many bathrooms without access. Especially fully tiled bath without access panels. I also enjoy you fully replacing stuff and avoid cutting corners and actually having a lot of parts in your van great work!

    On the towel rail, think about it. You need the heating on to have warm towel’s if system connected.
    Electric ones you leave on all year round and always have warm/hot towels, even in the summer months

  • @effervescence5664
    @effervescence5664 Рік тому

    The energy waste from that bath tap, wow. It's one of those designer style set ups that really needs a pressurised cylinder and 22mm with a hot water return serving it. Sadly you can only advise customers they have no obligation to listen.
    As for rads and customers supplying materials, it urks me. Just installed an en suite (built the room, plumbed it, wired, tested, sorted out all the sound insulation etc). Advised the customer what to get as they wanted to supply it, and you get there and stuff hasn't arrived or they're entirely not ready. It's normally not so bad but everything advised was changed and then didn't work out how they wanted so it all ended up having to be played by ear. Like how the hell can you stick to an estimate in that situation.
    Probably lost money, on the plus side I discovered while doing it that the house needs a substantial amount rewired as it has a bad case of the goo. Don't think I want that task though.
    Great video as always.

      I noticed that. Working with large format, porcelain tiles can be difficult. Especially so if brickcourse layout is requested.The walls have to be absolutely spot on.
      If the walls need replastering, I insist on using my mate. If the customer "knows a plasterer" I opt out of the tiling.
