Thats my new set up
s257 sxe .82 ar t3 on m20b25
Running 1.7 bar it made 502 whp and 685nm
at 3.8k rpms it has 590nm..
that turbo is a beast

I just ordered this same turbo with a T3 flange AR 1.00 housing for BME E21 320i with an 1.8 m10, I went with the large housing due to being able to rev to 8k+ rpm. I should be able to see around 480rwhp at the wheels with a cam and valves/springs up top on e85. I am using a twinscroll cast manifold from kangaroos team to really get the most out of that turbo, I am always impressed with how well BW turbos quality is and their performance.

Trying to decide between the 252 and 257 for my 10:1 comp M54B30.

For a B30 definitely go with the 257. It will give you headroom with very similar spool

I bought the bw s252 sxe with agp T3 .82 ar housing for my m20b25 forged bottom end build
What do you think about that turbo?i will run it with pump gas and methanol
I hope it goes to 500 hp,..is that possible?

The s252sxe is rated at 525hp at the crank. The 257sxe is rated at 650hp at the crank.

Does the vband outlet work with stardard vbands

Borgwarner uses marmon flanges you need to buy and adapter or cut and weld on a vband

The oil fittings sizes are -4an for feed and -10an for drain ?
