I was #5 watching till the end after Dan vintage PC! Great show guys, amazing cards picked up in 2024 for both of you. Looking forward to your plans for 2025!
Hi Graig and Darren. You guys had an unbelievable year of pickups. Both from your goals list and other pickups. I really enjoyed seeing every card you guys picked up and showed. All the best to both of you over the holidays and I look forward to more videos and seeing what you guys pick up for next year. I did watch to the end. Thanks for sharing my friends and we`ll talk soon.
Love seeing you and Darren doing your yearly review! Man you guys went hog wild this year! Congrats on you both grabbing so many goal cards for the year!
Really enjoy you and Darren’s chemistry. Just an idea for you guys to do a video about. Top 5 cards people think about in the hobby with Green backgrounds Red, Yellow, Blue maybe even Orange with guys like Spahn. Thanks!
Fantastic video guys. I remember watching your card target video last year. It’s cool to see what you got and the explanation of why you didn’t in some cases. Yall picked up some great cards. Two of my biggest pickups were becoming y’all’s friend. Sounds corny, but it’s true. Hobby friends are the best.
Enjoyed the Year In Review. Berk Ross cards IMO have gone up in the last 5 years as collectors continue to discover how low pop they are compared to Topps & Bowman issues of the same year. Total pop of PSA 1951 Berk Ross Spahn is 133 vs PSA has graded 1275 1951 Bowman Spahn cards. Thanks
One thing that all collectors can take note of... all of Darren's Top Tier List that he buried are all in old holders. The caveat is that they are mostly all centered, with high eye appeal that look properly graded. THAT's where I believe you can find some good deals. Just amazing cards, really. Also, My favorites Mid Life Crisis Pickups are the Banks and the 1916 "Ole Perfessor". I love Casey more than anyone probably. I have a couple of his playing days cards from that year and that one is much nicer... The Banks looks better than most 7's honestly. Just a tremendous card.
Being a Baltimore Orioles fan, I am biased. But, the Brooks Robinson rookie card is stunning, and it's always funny to me what happened the next year with his image on his 1958 Topps. But, not just everyone has their (16 Gold Gloves) of fame. For me, and I know I said this before. The Koufax rookie card would be super high on my list. . And, you showed in your video yesterday some recent sales of Mr. Bob Gibson. Reminds me I don't have that one either. Something for me to save up for. Thanks, Graig :]
Thanks for another interesting show. I see that you guys are very knowledgeable in Pre-War cards. My only exposure to these players in the Ken Burns documentary. Any other sources to investigate? Season Greetings - Joe
That's a great question. I felt like I would focus on the older cards on the grail list this year. I didn't think it was possible that I could land all three. But, I think in reality, it was probably on the list in my mind.
Not sure how much fun it is to see a person go over cards that are so unattainable. It is like me showing my trips over the world on Facebook for all to ………enjoy?
To me, it’s a lot of fun! I really appreciate Graig and Darren taking the time to Share their pickups and collection with us. There’s 1 million things they could be doing, And they decided to bless us with this awesome video. No disrespect, but if it’s something you don’t enjoy, I would suggest not watching.

This was a great video and I was one of the four people to watch until the end. Can I send Darren’s parents my birthday list?

1952 berk ross mantle in a 6 looks neat also
👍😎💯
if brooks robinson was one of your 3 childhood grails, why didn't it make your list of 15? just curious as the yogi and banks both were there.

I understand where you're coming from. I try to make a variety of videos with a variety of topics. Some aren't for everyone, which is understandable.
