Tour of Kamaka (Honolulu, Hawaii) Part 1: The History of the Ukulele and Kamaka Ukulele

While in Hawaii, we had the chance to tour the Kamaka factory, on a tour led by Fred Kamaka, Jr, grandson of the founder of Kamaka. This first part is held in the shop entrance, where Fred introduces the history of the ukulele and Kamaka’s place in that history. Part 2 of this video features the tour of the Kamaka factory.
