Dad loses more of his child- Name change

Divorce hurts. The breakdown of a family hurts. The separation of father and child hurts. I'm hurt.
I don't mean to cause issues with anyone, I'm just hurt. I'm not going after or defaming my Ex, I'm just hurt.
It seems as though relationships are destroyed......but God. My hope resides in Him. I know we will be alright in the end.
