The anger and mannerism is different because he is portraying a person from a region called Madurai in Tamil Nadu, whose mannerisms, slang and body language is unique to the region.
In "Wolf of Wall Street" movie, my favorite scenes are when the film runs in normal camera mode, they show the yacht, marriage, and a few incidents in handy cam like happening in the 90s. For some reason I really enjoyed that transformation in camera it added some reality. I noticed very late that Virumandi Kamal would have done the same time long back, as the initial portions in the movie will be captured from the reporter's camera. This man is Genius
Kamal and Ilaiyaraaja have worked more than 100 films together. You are bang on assessing the skills of Kamal Hassan. He is truly a multi-talented personality.
Pls watch Appu Raja (don't know Tamil name, it was dubbed in Hindi as Appu Raja). It's a Masala movie but amazing performance by Kamal Hassan where he has portrayed 3 roles. A very "filmy" revenge drama with lots of other genres too.

Jallikattu, originally referred to as "Eruthazhuvuthal" means "bull embracing" is a part of Tamil culture and Tradition. There are few seals found in Indus valley civilisation highlighting this bull taming tradition. Jallikattu dates back to the time Agriculture was originated in tamil land when humans found themselves very difficult to plough the field manually. At this time only the cows were used as domestic animals. This is where they learned the art of training the bulls as domestic animals for ploughing the field. Bulls are naturally very strong and aggressive hence it needed extraordinary skills to train those animals to use in Agriculture. What we learn from Tamil Sangam literature poems is that those days in Tamil land, men have to prove his masculinity by resisting or controlling the bulls in a public event to mate or marrying a women. Unlike European bull fight in Jallikattu, the bull is not intimidated with any tactics that infuriate or cause discomfort to it and touching any part of the bull except its hump and back is considered illegal and the player is sent out. Not everything shown in movie is true. This movie shows people intimidate the bull by pulling its tail but in real Jallikattu its illegal and the player will be banned. Also Jallikattu is setup in open field where there is more space for the bull to play so its only the people that get injured not the bull. Watch the famous Alanganallur Jallikattu vudeos in UA-cam which happens every year as a part of Pongal festival.

@Korby, this is not bull fighting like in Europe. it's called jalli kattu as in hug the bull, which means the sport is about how long one can hang on to the bull in its prime as it runs and it shouldn't be hurt as the bull owner gets rewarded if the bull is untameable. more people get wounded than any bull usually. no one is allowed to hurt the bull such as in spanish bull fighting. the bull is then requested for mating for their cows etc. Also, there is another comedy movie he directed and starred as stunt man where he satires how animals being used but not actually harmed and how they use camera techniques and tricks etc and how uninformed idiots from a peta like organisation come in to protest and actually end up killing the snakes involved etc. once again we know no real snakes were killed. Tamil people as a culture don't believe in harming animals. there are places where "sacrifices" are made but they are more culturally been done since ancient times as a way to share meat with all the people, so it's basically a glorified butcher. there's never a waste.
Those kids who were born in the 2K's always wonder what the fuss is about Kamal Haasan. To be fair to them Kamal's last 10 years has been not that good except "paapanasam". But some of the movies he did in late 80's like "Sathya" and in 90's were amazing. The sheer variety roles would blow you away from "Magazhir Mattum" to "Kuruthi Punal" was outstanding. It's sad that he didn't do movies with new age directors like Karthik Subburaj, Vetri maran. But looks like that's changing with "Vikram". I am pumped for that movie
You guys just got introduced to the world of Legend KamalHaasan's work. He's much more than what we can even imagine. He's everything that you can talk about. G.OA.T in all sense. Never before ever after. 🔥

Please review Kamal Hassan's 1985 classical Telugu movie 'Swathimutyam'. This movie is the inspiration for Forrest Gump
It was a great review. And I loved the way Rick was explaining the camera work of couple of shots. Well there is bunch of Kamal movies you could watch but I like to recommend ‘Devar Magan’ first.
If you liked this , then your next must watch is kuruthi punal
Next Kamal Hassan movie Aalavandhan.
Apart from all the responsibilites Kamal had for the film, he also had to face the political pressure to change the title and ban the movie! He also produced it.
Guys Since You Love So Much About Kamal Ji Add His Photo Behind You With Other Actors.

Now you are talking....That's Kamal Haasan & Tamil Movie industry for you....now you might get it why people say that you are biased to Bollywood...
Nope still don’t get your bias. We like good movies no matter where they are from try again
@korbin...thanks for the quick response...i know for sure you guys like good stuff, irrespective of the language...May be you had some bad recommendations in the beginning from regional movies... so,people would have had the impression that you are biased towards Bollywood...Anyway, Bollywood vs regional is more like a Avatar vs Hurt locker ...either you win in Box office or Win an Oscar...

React vijay antonys PITCHAIKARAN 2 "anti bikili" theme song 🔥 hope you React soon ❤
On bull fighting, can someone please recommend something to these guys on the Jallikattu protests please.
The so called jallikattu 'protest' is a political stunt by the dravidian a$$holes using their media mafia just for their false narratives to poison the minds of public. For God sake, I do not recommend them watching anything to do with TN politics which stinks like a sewer drain.
You guys must watch another Kamal Haasan movie name called "Anbe Sivam" is one of the best performance of Kamal Haasan and very good movie to watch out from list of best of Kamal Hassan.. 👍
That Was Funny Korbi The Way You Called Kamalhassan Name ! Hahaha !!! 😄

The Greatest Actor & most underrated artist of Indian Cinema - Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan
If you guys want to see how good kamal Haaaan the singer is, definitely listen to ‘sundari neeyum’ from the movie MMKR - Michael Madana Kama Rajan. Not to mention, it also showcases how good Kamal Hassan the comedian is! The movie itself is absolutely legendary, it is one of the best comedies to be ever made in Tamil cinema! Easily One of the best ensemble of actors (LEGENDS) a movie could ever have, the best script & dialogue writing, the best music composer and the best director of that time! I mean… just watch it!
Singaaravelan
Michael Madana Kama Rajan
Pammal K Sambandham
Thenali
Panchathanthiram
This lineup is a must for someone who wants to get a complete profile of Kamal.
Mahanadhi
Guys...please interview KamalHaasan sir. It will be a treat to watch.
Death penalty still exist in India and all over India. .like in Malaysia and Singapore as well
@Korby, this is not bull fighting like in Europe. it's called jalli kattu as in hug the bull, which means the sport is about how long one can hang on to the bull in its prime as it runs and it shouldn't be hurt as the bull owner gets rewarded if the bull is untameable. more people get wounded than any bull usually. no one is allowed to hurt the bull such as in spanish bull fighting. the bull is then requested for mating for their cows etc.
Swati mutyam purely for his performance
Some fight sequences of “AALAVANDHAN”inspired Quentin Tarantino to make Kill Bill ….Worth watching….ya and ”THEVAR MAGAN” also
The antagonist in this film is the one who acted as the boxing couch in the Tamil boxing film "Sarpatta Parambarai"
Uthamavillain movie.. I am sure you guys will love The Masterpiece
Unpopular opinion: Uttama Villain
T. Rajendren tamil actor director from 80s, he does all from lyric to music compose to all
You guys just got introduced to the world of Legend KamalHaasan's work. He's much more than what we can even imagine. He's everything that you can talk about. G.OA.T in all sense. Never before ever after. 🔥

Recently watched Thevar Meagan and the movie hasn’t aged. There is something about the script that brings about the village freshness and contrasting brutality in equal amounts…must watch
