  • In this video we take a look at the amazing recovery capabilities of the Century® 9055XL in a tandem-tandem chassis configuration. Utilizing the extra long recovery boom length we demonstrate how this unit can upright a turned over concrete mixer at a tough 60 degree inline angle.

    great truck, and helpful video, but i have never had a call for a empty mixer on its side.

    Nice demo, but where was the hand off on the catch line? Could have sat it down a lot softer.

    if they were worried about the drum they wouldnt have parked the truck on its side to start with.

    I thought that was a really nice demo. 9055XL seems very strong. Definitely thinking on buying a 9055 for next truck soon

    I think whom ever be was manning the catch strap was a little behind.....

      I don't think they planned on letting it down super soft, I believe they rigged just to have the catch line slow the descent which it did appear to do, it seemed to drop pretty slowly, Idk what exactly they had hooked to that catch line but it wa probably just a pickup or something.

      That thing slammed back over their was no catch line doing any slowing down of it. Very poor decision to let someone's 200K truck slam back over. If it was real. This was just a demo but you should still practise using a catch line.
