Nice ride. I thought it was a mistake when I bought my Fatboy during pandemic. After I rode one season, I have not ridden it again for 3 winter season now. But, I do love riding it summer through fall.

Thanks. I have an additional skinnier wheelset with 2.6" tires mounted so that I can use this bike in the summer as more of a rigid mountain bike. That helps keep me from selling it, because it definitely doesn't get ridden as much as some of my other bikes.

@@mattdesmondwashere I was thinking of getting a skinnier tire as well but for me I feel like it doesn't matched with the looks of wider fork and back. So, still running it with 26x4.0 vanhelga. It's sluggish but on the other hand it makes me fast when transitioning to my hardtail. 😁

@@bbitun19 For sure. The wider q-factor of the fatbike crank width is also not as nice to ride as a regular mountain bike.

Nice ride! It's tougher on ungroomed trails and narrower tires! Are your tires studded?

I have some studded tires for it, but I have not installed them this year due to lack of snow and ice. Conditions were just so soft and deep that I’m not sure it would have been worth the effort of mounting them.
