its like that for a reason. A reason you dont understand because youre clearly not a biker. The reason is, because bikers dont look down all the time, but when you do, its easier to understand what speed your going. thats why it updates slower. much better like that.
Motorcycle companies don’t make their tfts as far an I’m aware, it’s a component ordered from another company that they help design. But yeah 2 updates per second is probably being generous.
Love that video! The launch control from KTM works like hell! I myself have a 1290 SDR. Iv'e ridden many times on a race track, and man, no one has a chance at the starts of the races.
It will cut the power very hard and you won’t make a smooth start, I tried it once but it might slap you in the face aswell if you let go of the throttle just a little bit 👍
At the moment, none. I have made all service myself and checked pretty much everything and I have nothing to complain about really. I’m impressed with it actually!
Die Hauptsache ist, Ihr Motorrad rechtzeitig zu warten, das Öl alle 3000 km zu wechseln und nicht, wie viele sagen, alle 7000 km oder einmal pro Saison.
I love kTm😁
Same!
Apparently ktm's amazing engineering isnt able to make the speed change intervals on the tft screen more than twice per second.. its so annoying
Haha, yes, there are room for upgrades!

I know! It's a great treat to an already good bike!
How do you like the SDR btw? Not tried it... yet ^^
I saw that you have AW OFF, how does it work with launch control? the bike doesn't wheelie if you have AW off?
True! Even though you have wheelie control off, the bike will reduce the wheelie while in launch control until 2nd or 3rd gear 👍 works well!
Surprised how fast this bicycle is a 0 to a 💯 real quick
For a naked bike it’s pretty good! 👍
This bike weight only 166 kg. Power to weight is very good!
Yes for sure! 👍👍
180-190 kg
did you visit the mechanic after that?
Maybe I should 😂
does anyone know Will the ktm 790 radiator work on the 890 R?
@@RetroCarGeorgia I would assume that it does, but I can’t guarantee unfortunately
@@s.aracing5431 ok, thank you man
Quel est ton échappement
where did you place the microphone?
@@retapeit it’s placed in a small waist bag that I rotate and have over my lower back 👍
@@s.aracing5431 thx 😎🙌🏽
0-100 in less than 4s and 0-100 in ca 9s? Yikes.

What happens if you just dump the clutch. I haven't the balls to try it with the throttle to the stop.

It says in the manual to not dump the clutch but to just let it out fast. It’s really not designed that way.
que hay mi TOBE esta shula esa RR y ojala para la próxima sea una H2R ufaaaaaa..!!!!
Buddy ! Have you faced any issues without regards to reliability of the bike?

@@VladiReparaturMakes sense. All high perf engines should be taken care of with fresh oil, often. Very cheap peace of mind.
